Well I was thinking I would have liked it a lot more if Paro believed Rudra's word and changed her mind...
But then I stopped thinking as Sunara and thought as Paro.
So let's see what Paro knows.
1. She knows that BSD is good and are protectors.
2. She knows 4 BSD officers personally - Rudra, Kakusa, Aman bhai sa, V. K Singh
3. Now she has just been introduced to her 5th officer in the form of Shantanu through these 4 other officers she knows and trusts and he has been introduced to her as one of their own
4. Suneri was alone - n he dropped her home safely before knowing who she was, she was a strange girl and he safely brought her home
5. He is very easy going, puts everyone at ease
Now lets see.. from the 4 BSD officers she knew before Shantanu
1. Rudra - has trust issues, doesn't trust anyone except Paro and a few others.
2. Aman - the almost rakhi brother! Remember how she was introduced to him? He thought she was a terrorist and yet this guy was so nice to her! Cared for her, and she formed a brotherly bond b/w him and herself even when he was the enemy as far as she was concerned
3. V. K Singh - a father figure. A terrified weeping Paro is made to trust him, and then he tricks her and hands her over to Rudra even when she begs otherwise - which Paro learns later is the best thing that could have happened. That he most definitely saved her life with that decision. And then in Jaipur, he is almost a father figure to the girl. Pats her head and indulges her when she makes requests..
4. Kakusa - from the first second she met him, this kindhearted BSD man he brought her water when she was parched and was lying in that dark cell half fainted. He talked her out of killing Rudra or killing herself. He cared for her like a daughter from the moment Rudra brought her home. Even when it seemed his own brother's life was attempted by Paro he trusted her innocence to allow her to tend to that brother.
Now all 4 of these people - all 4 of these officers were STRANGERS TO HER.. Every single one was an unknown man to this lost, bewildered and terrified child woman stuck in a nightmare.
Yet she has at each time trusted them even when they were her enemies only to have her trust rewarded. Them caring for her, giving her love, belonging, protecting her
So how is it so wrong for her to trust the man - whom all of these men whom she loves, respects and trusts has brought inside her home to be near her?
These men have trusted her life with this man have they not?
Why would Paro distrust him?
Do I want her to distrust him? HELL YES!!
But is it logical for her to distrust him on a whim of Rudra - WHO HAS TRUST ISSUES? - NO its not logical for her to distrust Shantanu at all!
I am waiting for something to happen to trigger Paro to think otherwise. But TILL THEN she has to trust him.
Because - what more trust does she need than Rudra, kakusa, Aman and Singh sir leaving her alone in the house every morning with this man? Rudra might be reluctant, but isn't he also leaving his wife home with this man?
The man who threw acid on her - it takes a second for that man to kill her. And these 4 BSD men she trusts her life with, has trusted her own life in to this new BSD officer for 8 hrs every day morning to night!
What more reasons does she need to trust Shantanu until she gets even one clue to say otherwise?

Paro also has proven time and again that she trusts when she has seen reason. NOT stubbornness. Case in point Mohini and Sumer. Nothing swayed her on that did it?
Do u remember what she told Mohini when she tried to get Paro to leave Rudra? She said she will not trust the woman who raised a hand to slap her even when she hates Rudra. Because he is the one to raise the hand to stop that slap!
Sumer made nasty points at her in the revelation of dua kumari - and no matter how much he groveled he never got back to her good books.
Give Paro a reason ONE SINGLE reason and she will never turn around! Paro doesn't simply emotionally trust everyone. She uses reason, logic, compassion and sensibility.
How the hell is she supposed to know how a real BSD man is supposed to behave on duty when its a more domestic duty? She just knows the gentle handling of herself by Kakusa, Aman and Singh sir as examples and Shantanu is perfectly falling in the same gentle handed BSD officers she knows and is familiar with!
Rudra has to bring her just 1 single proof and she will trust his POV implicitly! Till then Paro is too much of a sensible individual to just change her mind for no reason at all!
