Zaaku,

Thanks for posting. Accha Kiya. Warna I would have started one 😉

Ek quote Yaad Aaya Somerset Maugham Ke
- " We are not the same persons this year as last; nor are those we love. It is a happy chance it we, changing, continue to love a changed person. "

Thank you! :) And Thank you for commenting!

ii. This really stood out to me:

"The only thing wrong with Mala, is that she is weak-willed.."

She is, isn't she? It's odd, because her weak will is what most likely made her son so stubborn.

Tell me about it. It is SO obvious no matter who she is with. She always get swayed by that person. Be it Tejawat, Be it Laila, Be it anybody.

iii. This is the part that gets me though:

"Right now, Rudra can hate as much as he wants. Rudra can try to run as much as he wants. But it is his mother at the end of the day. He is numb to her love now. It is too late to forgive and forget and be sunshiny. But the responsibility, the relation, is something which he will have to just sustain.

Because, What else can one do?"

She is his mother at the end of the day, but that title does not give her an inherent right or access to his life IMO. The connection/association (I don't think it merits to be called a "relationship" that implies an emotional give and take which they don't have) is there and will always be there, but he doesn't have to sustain it. It's simply a fact of life and biology. He just has to reconcile his past with his present, but not sustain the connection and association.

I really did not mean an emotional give and take when I used the word relation. It was just that I meant that biologically, she is his mother. Bas.

And the question is not about her having an access in his life. Because he will never allow that.

The question is that now where else does she go? He is her son. So, she comes to him. And even though he doesn't want her in his life anymore. Musibat toh gale aan hi padhi hai. Aur kahin jaaegi bhi nahi.

Hey! A very well written post.
You have put across exactly what I feel.
Staying in a lovless marriage is equal to staying in an abusive marriage/relationship, but I wonder what who instigated Mala to take such a big step. As you have pointed out, she isnt that strong willed.

Rudra here is struggling, he believes he hates his mother, but deep down his love for her is strong enough to go and yell at her, pour his heart out and ask her to leave. She matters to him, or he wouldn't have gone back.
Today, we also got a glimpse of Dilsher's role too. I wonder, is Rudra aware of all this.
Paro, I truly believe will suffer the most. I truly admire her strength.

Rudra and Mala need to be under the same roof for the conflict to grow and the truth to come out.

Coming back to your post, not only will he have to but he will sustain this relationship, but at what cost, I wonder?!

Beautifully Done 👏
Each and every character is flawed to certain extents and thats what makes them so Interesting and that's what makes Rangrasiya so Beautiful!

As to Rudra sustaining his relationship with Mala...well this is one happy ending I won't be rooting for... for now anyways 😉

SZsa,

What a fabulous post and written with so much maturity and sensibility.

It is his mother after all...no matter what, he will come to forgive her someday...yes he won't forget.

For if he does not, the hate will continue to consume him all his life...

That's what makes it more difficult to swallow- that you'd only recall your child when all options are exhausted 🤔 For me the answer to the question of where she'd go is literally: Anywhere but here.

The stark contradictions will make for great TV though!

Beautifully written... Completely agree with you... But the only problem is time... Rudra need time to get adjusted to the fact that his mother has returned... And he has full right to express his anger and hurt to her... Once he calms down he will listen to her.. Even if he never forgives her, he'll come to a term of being at peace with her... But for that to happen Paro needs to give him time... With bringing Mala in the house, she is just forcing him to forgive his mother.. Which can't happen as of now...
