Beautiful post, Baisa!!! To see the story from every single character's POV is difficult ... and very uncommon on this forum 😉 .. you have managed to step back and look at the bigger picture. Lovely post!!!

Rudra, Mala, Dilsher ... all caught in a situation none of them wanted ... but it is true that when a marriage breaks up, it's the children who suffer the most, no matter how much the parents try to cushion them. And here, there was not even any attempt to cushion Rudra from the blow he received. Dilsher did not, Mala could not. But they both owe him the entire story ... he was too young to understand as a child ... now he is old enough ... he deserves the closure. Mala and Dilsher will be caught up in their individual guilt complexes as to what they did to him ... it is left to Paro, who has only seen the good side of BOTH Dilsher and Mala, to act as mediator.

And that will be a thankless job ... because for the moment, Rudra does NOT WANT to understand, he does NOT WANT to listen ... he only wants to let loose the combined anger, frustration and anguish accumulated over fifteen years ... fifteen years of hearing taunts about how his mother ran away, how his father hates him because he has her eyes ... so Paro has to bear the brunt of that anger, that frustration as Rudra finally lets out the poison that has been festering inside him for so long.

Excellent post, what you wrote was bang on, I was thinking along the same line, we humans want to judge, some do before listening to the whole scenario, and some do it after. But we have to pass judgement ( most of us). So if ever there is a situation where we can't pass our judgement, our minds become helpless, and we get confuse, just like here, I honestly don't know who to blame. Thanks for sharing your perspective, it's good to know I am not the only one in this confused state of mind.

Wonderful and in depth post.
Your right in saying we shouldn't be judging Mala because we don't know what happened all those years ago yet.
I have known a few women to stay in their loveless marriages for the sake of their children and believe you and me no one was happy. Neither the husband, wife and eventually as the kids grew up they could see that their parents weren't happy making them unhappy.
Quite a number of times these kids who have seen what their parents go through mature really quick.
So what Mala did for herself took a lot of courage but your right in saying that she was weak willed.
There could have been many things she could have done but didn't.
What you said about Rudra is so true.
He may hate his mother now but what about in the future.
He may not come to love or trust the woman but he may eventually compromise that whether he likes it not she is his mother.
The one thing I doubt he will ever allow her to do is make decisions on his life or interfere in his life.
