Lovely post!
I agree Paro's timing was not right, but in no way was she being insensitive to Rudra's emotions. I think Paro would be the last person on earth to do that.
She loves Mala as much as she loves Rudra, and has even known her for longer than she has known Rudra, so she immediately jumped in to defend her mother like any daughter would. Wish people understood this.

Loved how she came to apologise to him, was an 'aww' moment. Even Rudra knows that what Paro said was not intended to hurt him, so he was normal the next morning.

I agree with you. I got to admit I was a bit thrown off when she said Rudra that he has same eyes as his mother but then I immediately realized that Paro never saw Mala like us or Rudra. For her she was always a mother she never had. She spoke in the spur of moment, tries to defend the one person she holds dear to her but the minute she realized she was hurting Rudra, she stepped back and apologized to him.

Paro was first shocked at the revelation. She even asked him why Mala would leave him and his father... But only when Rudra said that she left them for that traitor did she correct that she didn't know about Thakur when she was with him. There, Paro I feel was not justifying Mala's love for thakur, she was just trying to explain that Mala was oblivious to Thakur's evil side.

I loved how Paro cleared with Rudra that her only intention behind saying what she said is that she thinks Mothers love is divine and she felt maybe Mala showered Paro with love because she missed her son. Paro was no where justifying Mala's actions. She was just trying to make Rudra see the other side of Mala that she saw.

Will stop ranting before I get chappals flying my way.😃

I think you hit the nail on the head with her reaction: it wasn't meant to hurt or wound Rudra: it's not in Paro's nature to be insensitive. She is sweet and caring and her initial reaction was one of "Oh, her, you have her as a mother? She's such a wonderful person!"

Keep in mind that although Paro loves Rudra, Mala has been like a mother to her- she has known her longer. And although, the reality of Thakur escaped her, part of her holds on the belief that Mala has some good in her.

There is one point though: I would have thought that Paro might be a little more skeptical about Mala's nature since she was false about Thakur's, but that might come down the line.

Either way, Decoding Paro is easier said than done- her character has evolved and will continually evolve. Can't wait to see what's in store!

Thanks reeha..! ❤️ Paro believes in what she SEES.. And till now she has'nt SEEN any flaw in Mala. Then how can she straight label her as a culprit.. ? She would like to hear the other side of story as well..

She was'nt skeptical about Thakurain after her perception about Thakur broke to pieces.. Thats because when all people of Birpur can be fooled by this one man Tejawat, including herself, then same goes for Thakurain as well. She was blinded by his greatness as well just how they all were.

So very happy reading your post..Paros character has remained consistent from the start..she doesn't jump into conclusion..she didn't even do that for Laila than how can she do for Mala who is her mother figure. She didn't mean to hurt rudra but when she realized her words hurted him the most she went to say sorry and also spoke about healing wound..that was so very cute and caring and of course rudra understood her very well and became very calm before sleeping and also spoke so normally the next morning..

Super post..thanks 👍🏼

thank you and agree with you !! glad to see one more matured and practical post !! even I myself don't wanna come to any conclusion without knowing the true story !! I donno why some of us reacting like this !! we need to have patience let mala tell her story completely then judge !! without knowing anything and start judging is not right in my point of view 😛 so I would like to wait n watch to know the true revelation of malas story !! donno why I have some kinda feelings that mohini has sth to do behind all these and may be mohini did sth that's why mala left !! donno its just my feelings 😆😆😆

True orpi.!! 😳

Judging things so quickly is how most relationships ends.. :( Its better to analyze things in a sane manner and then reach a conclusion.

I agree with all the points mentioned. I don't think paro wanted to hurt Rudra either... But the way she spoke those words was insensitive. Until that moment, she was worried about rudra's pain. the moment she hears about this, she is lost in her own world... She is not sensitive to the feelings of the person who is opening up in front of her... Like you said, she is thinking of her experience.. she did not pause to think about the pain and feelings or experience of the person who is sharing his deepest wound with her... In simple words, she was selfish at that moment! If she had loved Rudra as much as she claimed, she would have been worried about his feelings... No matter how you justify her thought process, it was wrong. Especially for someone like paro who has been shown to be sensible and wise beyond her age... She does not have to blame Mala or say anything- just listening to him patiently would have been enough instead of telling him how she might have loved tej without understanding his darker side... That was so 🥱
But they showed her apologizing later, which means she realized her fault... To me, it is human to make mistakes and to try to make amends is applause worthy.
That is my POV. I am not bashing Paro or you... Just sharing my differences in opinion with you...
