Phew!...Brilliant!!

I told u the same thing when u figured out the kind of hero Rudra was...this is totally out of the world! Thank you for ur time, patience and effort for showing light to this confused forum. The most unbiased detailed character sketch in this forum so far! I try hard, but end up supporting one's actions over the other's though Rudra and Paro are both very dear to me. But u have expressed in such beautiful words clearly the mental angst of both the characters without exaggeration and metaphors...Wonderful, hats off!!

And this is true to every single word: learned this fact through expreience many times!!

it's the testing of the marriage that makes couples work. Its not how you enjoy the good times, but how you handle the bad ones that count. Not how you GOT together, but how you STAYED together. It started off when two children saw each other. It continued when two infatuated people married each other. It got real, now when two adults, two scarred, worried, frightened, and yet deeply committed people are fumbling things up, as they face a threat together. Both of them want to give the other person what they need, what they want. Paro is ready, again, to leave him--not for her promise to Bholenath, but if he needs her to go for his love. Rudra is ready to kill everyone to keep her--not because she is his wife, but because she is his love.

Brilliant post 👏 👏 👏
Very well- written!

She is practically unaware of what happens between men and women, she is innocent of lust, of desire. She knows, vaguely, that there are intimate acts between man and wife---but the words there are MAN and WIFE. She is not stupid. She is unworldly. She is, actually, a hugely literal person. She believes EXACTLY what she is told. Word for word.

Too many contradictions, too many people changing, too many world views shattered.

Her Rudra? How? So is she not his childhood sweetheart? Where did that little boy go? If he was a god before, he is a man, now. And Paro does not KNOW men. And the one she has married---she is getting to know things about him that don't make sense to her literal, black and white mind.

I completely agree. She always saw him as her protector and a god. Now, she has to understand the man he actually is.

Awesome post 😊

Napster Sa, Words fall short ... Beautiful. I am speechless. You explained Paro Fantastically. OMG! just brilliant.

When I first came across a beautifully written line I liked, I thought I need to mark it and past it in this post... to say how wonderfully you have written it. But then I found another and then another, and another... I then realized, I need to past almost the entire post of yours if I want to show what all I liked. Awesome.😃

Thank You for making this fabulous post 👏 and taking me through this amazing journey of Paro.

Thank You!!! THANK YOU sooo much for...existing!!!

I don't know if you remember me. I'm Viji, the girl who wanted to see this show but kept putting it off...And then I saw your post 'how do you solve a problem like rudra'...and that was it!! You wove such a beautiful story about these two beautiful people on paper that I HAD to see them on screen!

I've now downloaded all the episodes and I have a to say a big THANK YOU...I LOVE LOVE LOVE this story and these two characters and actors...what a lovely pairing...such a delicate, pure beauty and such a fierce handsome man...both of them scarred and traumatized...finding their peace and protection in the other. It brings me to tears.

I was flowing along with their beautiful story and then suddenly it comes to a stage where the viewers are a bit confused...so many wonderful writers trying to analyse why...what..how...

And then YOU arrive. And EVERYTHING...becomes okay.

Your writing and your grasp of the story and these characters is uncanny. This piece of writing, like the other, touched my heart and filled my eyes with tears at the sheer beauty of it...

Please...write more often, won't you? And...thank you!

p.s
I just discovered you and some other ppl are writing short stories about the navarasas...After I've read this post of yours another 6 times, I'll be going there 😊

👏👏👏 I'm thinking this is, if not the best then one of the best posts I've ever read on any show forum on IF.
Please tweet this to GH so he knows that some of us really do understand the complex simplicity of these almost human beautiful characters, particularly Paro.
Thanks to you I got the biggest lump that I've ever had in my throat. Your words touched my heart with the same intensity that Sanaya does when portraying these emotions on screen. I thought I understood Paro pretty well but the depth you've explored and explained the character makes my understanding seem very shallow. Thank you for making me understand better a character that has become my favorite on tv currently.

This part made me cry, it's just so beautiful.
What she does at the mandir-it is not any less than a bullet wound. She takes a mortal hit to her heart as she makes that vow. Then she hides that hit, so she can watch over him and keep protecting him--- until its time for her to pay for this sacrifice.

The creatives of this show are doing an amazing job in giving never before seen depth to characters and we should all sit back an enjoy Paro and Rudra's journey instead of trying to twist it into something that fits into our life style - that is of course unless you're a bhai sa or bana from Birpur in which case go ahead and point out why these characters are wrong in the way the feel.
Once again, thanks for a mind blowingly awesome post.👏👏👏
