@Jyo: *Sigh* You are so right Jyo. I had missed the day before's episode, so watched them almost back to back. What a difference? In a bid to stretch the puppet analogy, they dented the characterizations. Paro's very logic went for a toss.If she had accepted that Laila was Rudra's past and that she only wanted to know for sure what place she herself has in Rudra's heart, then why is she herself getting so insecure again? If she wants to see Rudra being unaffected by Laila's presence or absence, then shouldn't that same argument be valid for her as well? Rudra keeps saying that the only reason Laila's presence affects him is because it affects her, his wife. I find that a very logical reason. I too wouldn't want to be friends with anyone who is rubbing my husband completely the wrong way. Paro has to understand that Rudra is affected not because there is still some residual feelings in him for Naina, but because he feels uneasy around her, especially because he has to always second guess what Laila is up to.
Indu I do agree that Paro's insecurity is actually giving a reason here for Laila to hv the last laugh but I feel its more of human reaction .. if I was in Paro's place and my husband and me dont hv that regular normal husband-wife relation and then suddenly this truth comes out , I would hv similar doubts , mood swings and insecurity too .. I feel her reactions r more human here ...
But yess she got to trust Rudra here ... after all she once believed that both hv a divine connection .. where has that belief gone now .. thats where I hope CVs ponder on a bit ..
Paro is pushing Rudra too far in a bid to be just to Laila and wanting for her husband to speak out his feelings. She needs to give him time. Not everyone is vocal about their feelings.
yeah time is needed for sure ... I hope Paro dont go too overboard here ,..
I loved your analysis. Spot on.👍🏼 As for Laila's character being given too much importance, I agree to a certain extent. She was needed to make Rudra proactive toward his feelings, and that has happened. There was no need to turn Laila into the other woman. Between you and me, I guess the actress may have been brought in for a certain amount of time by the makers, and so had to be given the promised screen space.😉
Exactly my thoughts .. it starts getting irritating when the negative element in the show starts looking powerful that the positive ones and thats exactly what happened in last 2 episodes where it looked like Laila is using PaRud like puppets in her story when she was suppose to b a catalyst in PaRud's story and not vice versa ...
