Concealing your shortcomings to protect yourself is fine. Sharing your story and being brave about it is also ok. Your choice. But here it's just a strategic PR move. When 'hiding' backfired, they want to market it as 'embracing'. Fake acceptance sold for real acceptance from audience.

Apart from that, good luck to Ibrahim. Hope things get better for him and he is fluent one day.

I don’t know how I feel about this. If you have a speech impediment, why would you even go into acting? It’s such a major part of the profession. He could have just gone into modeling and that would have been fine.

Same thoughts, why not go into behind the scenes, you can still make alot of money. The other thing im genuinely curious if speech therapy can make it better? But if it didnt work in so many years I guess thrs no luck. Feel bad for him.
