Really look forward to your take these days, couldn't comment last night cuz I was out till late.

Coming to episode I totally loved it. You are so right.
Watching desi soaps with a logical mind is suicidal.
Expecting a character to act a certain way is inviting disappointment.
How cam we expect the leads to have the same characterization 100 episodes in to the show?
So much has changed for Rudra and Paro, so they will react differently.
Today I found nothing wrong in the way Rudra and Paro reacted.
Paro doesn't blame him for his past.
She has emotionally hit rock bottom since the show started. .
She was never insecure even in the hate marriage because she was sure of her love and faith.
She was seeing small acts of care from him, she saw him smile, change.
With Laila's entry she is highly insecure, not about Laila but about herself.
She is angry at herself, feeling humiliated, sad.
She is so shaken that the promise to Bholenath does not even figure.
The core of her belief system is shaken and for the first time her faith is not giving her answers.
So she is turning to the object of her being, Rudra.
She want answers from him to help her, guide her.
She can handle Laila but not her own questions and doubts, which will not go away even if Laila does.
Laila is inconsequential and insignificant in her scheme of things right now.

Rudra is totally confused and to some extent guilty that for the first time he is not being able to protect her. The only way he sees is to remove Laila. And I do not think he is ready to let out his feeling yet.

This is a test of his love and her faith.

I am wondering if this is leading towards separation without Rudra's confession.

Loved the episode also because of less of Laila.😛

Yet to catch up on the rest of the thread.

He never loved her and never will?

I understand that...trust me, I do...I identified so much with Paro's pain and and confusion on Friday...but the CVs are so inconsistent with her character...one day she's like the reincarnation of Parvati and nothing can shake her...it was because of this divine belief of hers (that Bholenath has destined her to be with Rudra) that she barely reacted after the wedding...she did not take Rudra's vows seriously because she believed that Rudra was meant to be with her and so to hell with the extremely cruel vows!! Now all Rudra has told her is that he has slept with another woman before meeting her...I completely understand her pain after this revelation...I understand her doubts and confusion in general...but is his relationship with Laila such a huge deal that suddenly she's doubting Bholenath or doubting her belief in Bholenath or maybe just doubting her belief in Bholenath's blessing?

And I know all the Paro fans are probably going to run after me for this, but I thought Paro refusing to give tea to Rudra was kind of petty. It's just my opinion. She has always been shown as a bigger than life character, and we all know she loves Rudra despite his "confession", so why is she treating him like he is at fault for something here?? Ok even if she's doubting her place in his life...why does she have to treat the man like he's a criminal? He's done nothing wrong here...even if she's doubting her place in his life...how is that his fault?? He never promised her love or wifely rights. Has she forgotten the 8 hateful vows he took? So how is she suddenly treating him as if it's his fault that her doubts exist? Meh just couldn't understand or connect to Paro's character today.

Full disclosure to people thinking I'm just "out to get Paro": Sometimes I like Rudra more and sometimes I like Paro more, depending on the episode. On Friday I identified and sympathized and understood Paro more...today I identify and sympathize with and understand Rudra more. I just wanted to give him a big hug and hold him close today 🤗

It was a good episode and I enjoyed not having to watch the two witches in action.
I've seen many posts questioning why Paro wants Rudra to commit when she's leaving him. I think she's hoping that once she keeps her promise that Rudra because of his love for her will come get her.

She needs to know that's she's not completely wrong about her relationship with Rudra because if she is what does she have left?? If he can't ever give her the rights she deserves as his wife what difference does it make if Laila stays, goes or jumps into a lake (my personal preference) Other people are irrelevant at this point - so I agree with Sush that it is a test.

I'll say it again that Paro has done the hard work for this relationship and now it's Rudra's turn. If he wants a life with his wife it's up to him to make it happen because we can only blame our past for so long.

I actually agree with you Z! The writing and dialogues for Paros character were a little all over the place today...I think a little more poise was needed before the dialogue "Kaun sa Rishta" knowing who she is...and not giving chai after wiping his hair...hmmm...a bit inconsistent...

But her emotions are not that off...Z! She is angry and insecure...when I get upset with hubby...the first thing I go for...is you don't care about me.,...it's very natural...

Shweta- Great Collage.👏

Today's episode was beautiful and I have divided it into moments.

1) Moment of Relief- The hug was a dream sequence and it was such a moment of relief. And I owe Shweta Sooji ka laddoos for predicting it to be a dream sequence.😛

2) Forthright moment- When Major tells Laila that he doesn't need her Sahara and Hamdardi.👏

3) Sneak-Peak moment- When Dillu watches everything and gets a clue as to what is going on.😛

4) Helping moment- When Dillu gives money to Samrat which makes Danveer happy and this can really help Samrat's confidence.😊 Finally, he can have a future.

5) Enlightening moment- When Dillu decides to give a piece of his mind to his son.😛 Major listened for the most part and then left.

6) Sisterly moment- When Maithili senses that something is wrong and looks at her.😛

7) Cute moment- When major comes looking for tea and Maithili telling Paro Bai sa that at least he knows what kind of tea she likes, Samrat wouldn't even know about her preference.😊

8) Dad-son moment- Dillu telling Major that "Are you nuts to tell about your yourself and Laila to Paro Bai Sa"? Major's reply was fantastic when he said that he couldn't have hidden it.👏

9) Dillu's sixer moment- Do you want to stay with Paro or not? Your harkat is going to snatch away your happiness.😊

10) Showing people the right place moment- Paro Bai Sa telling Laila that she is a guest and she cannot work.😛

11) Doubtful moment- When Paro Bai Sa thought how does Laila know about this disclosure?😕

12) Major Moment- Major telling Laila to go away from the Haweli.👏

13) Privacy moment- Major finally shutting the door during their private conversation so that somebody couldn't come in.👏 His Chal was Jhakas.😛

14) Dazzling moment- When Bai Sa asked about Laila's leaving the house had anything to do with his feelings, he replied that "You are the one who matters to me" He said "Mayne woh nahi tu Rakhti Hai"

15) Incredible moment- When Major tells Paro that she hasn't smiled today and has been crying since the morning and he can't see her like this. Loved it when he held her cheek.😉 He can't bardasht the takleef.

16) Stunning moment- When Paro Bai Sa tells Major that she is just tied to him by a thread. What right does she have on him? 😛

17) Second to none moment- When Paro Bai Sa tells Maithili that whatever happened between Major and Laila is a thing of the past and it was before marriage.😛 I was taken aback by this one. She doesn't want to prove chota on this issue by digging about their past.😛

18) Awe-inspiring moment- When Paro Bai Sa says ""What is in Major's heart for me?"👏

19) Breathtaking moment- Will he give his heart to her, today, tomorrow or forever?😛

Since today's episode was all about her finding a value or place in Major's life, I chose "Place" as the acrostic.

P- Paramount (Her and Major's rishta are just tied by a thread)😛
L- Leading-edge( When she talks about having any rights on him)😛
A- Assertive ( What value does she have in his life?)😛
C- Clear-cut (She wanted to know what is in his heart for him)👏
E- Earnest ( Will he give his heart to her today, tomorrow and forever?)👏

Fab acting by the leads, amazing dialogue delivery and enjoyed every part of it.

T 🤗 What an amazing write up 👏 I am scratching my head ...thought's all over can't seem to penn down anything 😭 The highlight for me was absence of KCM 😛 Loved Dilsher 😃

Babe this is for you ...sooji ladoo bhejo 😆

Rudra did a good thing by telling Paro the truth. Full marks to him for that and for trying to make it right. Paro was being petty? Probably but even Mother Theresa had doubts Zee. She questioned whether her life's work was worth anything. If it mattered; so if a real person has doubts a fictional character should as well.

No, Ruder promised her nothing. She's ok with that because she figures that one day he will change but now she realizes he might not ever change. Has she made the biggest mistake of her life by marrying a man who can never love her, can never feel anything for her?

She's been fighting for so long and maybe she's tired - maybe she's emotionally done and perhaps she needs time - more than one night to process what he's told her.

He's not at fault but then neither is she. They are trying to find their way; whether it's together or separate. Because say what you will about Paro she deserves more and so does Rudra.

Exactly! How is she so confidently saying "Kaun sa rishta?" Why was there no confusion and doubt shown before she said this? Yeah the tea thing didn't seem very characteristic of Paro.

I understand the emotions, trust me. It's definitely natural 😆 But her emotions seem to be taking over her mind, her very existence...because isn't that what she's doing? When she questions her place in Rudra's life isn't she questioning her existence in some way? Her existence in his life at least? Her emotions are definitely not extreme...because emotions cannot be measured...and cannot be controlled...not in the truest way at least...but the way she is presenting her emotions and acting upon them just seems very meh to me.

Ok,I'm back and here goes!

Any woman ( or man for that matter) who claims not to be in the least bit affected by the revelation that his/her partner had a long term intimate relationship with someone else and now being in such close quarters ,is lying to themselves IMO. Whether that other person is a colleague, ex partner,BFF ,neighbor, whatever. There is that little twinge, pit in the stomach kind of feeling that surfaces when you least expect it, and can eat away at your soul, if allowed to fester. No matter how many times your one and only swears his/her undying love and devotion , the proximity that they share with a former romantic interest can be very unsettling. And that exists even with a relationship based on mutual love and understanding, I know...been there myself. We worry because we're human, and relationships are complicated, precisely because they involve human emotions. No matter how we may try to convince ourselves otherwise ,we can fluctuate between love and despair, trust and doubt, conviction and insecurity more often than we care to admit. Because love is never really an absolute, or perfect...because truthfully neither are we.

Imagine how this situation plays out for a 21/22 year old like Paro, inexperienced and innocent, yet suddenly convinced that she shares a divine connection with a man , who up till this point has been her adversary. Due to external pressures and circumstances, but with her approval, they marry against his wishes and better judgement. He makes it very clear to her that he has no intentions of being an ideal husband, but she accepts the challenge and like many women before her ,she believes with divine assistance she can overcome all obstacles and change this flawed and damaged person. She thinks if only she loves him enough, he'll change and maybe even one day love her back. And just when she thinks things are beginning to look up, then ...crash!!!

Her world is now turned upside down. Nothing is for certain anymore. She is haunted by fear, doubt, insecurity, anger ( at herself mostly!) and humiliation.
At this point, logic and rationale are thrown out the window. You can't see or think straight. You've forgotten every promise, every resolution ,every pact that you've made with God and your bruised ...if not yet broken heart. You just want answers, reassurance, over and over again, till it's seared in your brain and your aching heart.

All you want to know now at this very moment in time, do I really matter to you? And if so, what place do I hold in your life? Please, forget everything and everyone else...just tell me. I need to know!

Paro's mind works in its own ways.😆 That and poor thing has been truly shaken by that truth. Put that together with how they got married and his 8 vows, is it any wonder she is reacting the way she is!?

But see the benefits, she will now get a sparkling new Mangalsutra 😃

And possibly a confession or at least some sort of acknowledgement by the end of this...
