No, Laila is just the surface issue...I respect it when someone takes ownership of their mistakes, their flaws...which Rudra has done time and again.

To me, it's not fair that all of Paro's mistakes be brushed under the carpet saying "Oh she was naive"...I don't blame/hate her for anything cuz I can understand her naivete...but what I do not agree with is that she not even be held ACCOUNTABLE for her claims...no, that is not right...both Rudra and Paro need to be held accountable for everything they've said and done...in Paro's case, the list of claims is quite long and comprehensive so I don't find it so easy to forget them in the blink of an eye.

Rudra is also being held accountable by Karma for the relationship he had with Laila...so Karma finds its ways to make everyone pay up.

Naivety doesn't work, people have to smart up. Everyone makes mistakes, apparently Rudra did and now Paro is doing. I totally agree with the points made above that Rudra accepts his mistakes, his flaws.
However without mistakes, there will be no story at least not the way things are generally told on television these days.

Yes, everyone makes mistakes...how you own up to, learn from those mistakes decides how your character evolves...and yes for any story to run, characters need to make mistakes, learn from them, move on from them...

The story is poised at a point where Paro will have to outgrow some of the naivete that has carried her through her life so far...some innocence will have to be lost in this bargain if she is to understand Rudra in totality as a flawed human being not exactly fitting in with her ideal traits.

@bold :- 👏👏.. thats what makes Rudra so different out of the lot, he has the COURAGE and STRENGTH, to accept his faults, to redeem himself, to take a matter in his hand and handle it and not just leave it to the almighty or play the blame game.

i agree here that " naivety or innocence " which usually are character traits cannot be taken as a justification when human emotions are concerned, here i am talking about Rudra's and not Paro's. Her only problem is she is delusional, having said that but because she has pure intentions, she still induces some sympathy in such a case.

Anu when i menat that i cannot justify her for laila's stay, i meant that my sympathy for her reduces time again, when i correlate her TALL CLAIMS of understanding Rudra but keeping laila in the house. That makes me lose my temper because, Girl at one side you are claiming that you understand him and the very immediate moment you ignore his opinion and keep laila in the house . Thats absurd Anu.

Anu what worsens it more here is that a needbased sexual affair is beyond Paro's comprehension, and she will not justify it, more because laila is a moving creature who hovers around Rudra in the haveli ( a golden chance provided by paro herself ).. what worsens it more is that she told maithili that she has all trust on her major saab, but the same major saab is ignored when Paro is taking decisions and domination him at an emotional level.

Anu by the way, today's sbs increased my hopes.
No more dissing of major saab, that he does not claim his feelings, or he does not give her rights, he is so honest and blunt that he will directly tell her that its hurting him, her condition is hurting him, and he is finding it hard to tolerate.

Agreed. However with the way the story appears now, this seems like a huge task. Lets see if the writers are willing to show some courage and take the curve instead of walking the straight line like every other show.

but the simple thing this marriage there was never an opportunity to understand , her claims were misguiding , heavily misguiding true
so were his words , i will never be able to reciprocate your love or my the 8 vows lol
that i took as more of a feeling , like she felt he was her soul mate , she felt she is parvati and he is rudra
like he felt he will never be able to reciprocate , leave his darkness behind
so if she leaves rudra , that is again cos of lack of understanding , so who is to be blamed as i said in the beginning of the post depends upon who answers it ,rudra or paro
whether rudra answer will be very different from paro's
@anu
accepting his faults , that was cool , although i didnt think his past relationship was a fault , but yeah reveling it himself is definitely a act of courage

@megha
i remember that post , about paro not knowing rudra , i agreed then , i agree today

i just hope writers give a good closure to laila, and keeps the maturity and rawness in Rudra intact.
As much as i loathe the character laila, i still relate to her, i understand from where she comes and from where she is playing the games, and i hope they give her a good closure, not paint her as totally black but someone who will realise the faults in her.
similarly i hope Rudra, facing a betrayal or not, i want him to overcome the delusion that he is unlovable, i want him to realize that inside him there is a very beautiful and honest human being, let him discover that please.

LOL to Paro, her trust and understanding of Rudra were seperate from the Laila issue...and I'm talking about the situation before Rudra told her the truth...Paro was acting in accordance with her trusting nature which wants to believe in the good for everyone unless proven otherwise...and Laila knew exactly how to play on her sympathies by acting the victim...Mohini doesn't bother hiding her evil side much cuz the taunts keep slipping out...but initially atleast Laila was playing the victim.

And maybe Paro somewhere genuinely doesn't want to be the cause of someone possibly dying cuz she didn't give them shelter...since she believed Laila's life to be in danger from Tejawat.

This all Paro's own belief system making her act this way...this wasn't necessarily about her faith or understanding in Rudra...that test has come NOW...but initially about Laila, Paro was just presuming that Rudra is being his usual irritable self and didn't take him seriously...she chooses to overlook his anger/grouchiness many times despite there being plenty of examples of the perils she's gotten herself into when she hasn't listened to him😆...But some basic personality traits won't change I guess since they have to use excuses to build drama😆

Rudra took paro to his room, and confronted her. he said her that its hurting him that she is showing him the back, her silence and tears are killing him. he cups her face, and tells all these in a very helpless manner..
