Absolutely agree to the bit in purple...Rudra needs to make the first move...referring back to the metaphor of the ditch I used in my 3rd post...only when Rudra shows paaro that he wants to conitnue on climbing up...will she then fight back realising he has given her his rights...at this moment she is questioning that belief...she had started to think that Rudra was accepting her as his wife and was giving her his rights that why she didn't care that Laila was in the house...for she says to maithali I trust him 100 percent...but his one denial about not ever caring for Laila...makes her question this...makes her question that does she actually have any rights on him...her flashback of the marriagee vows are evidence to this...she recalls how he said it there and then she will never have any rights on him...so now she is left wondering was she wrong to think his changing attitude towards her suggested he was giving her his rights...or was she right...for her at the moment in her opinion Laila possess more rights...only when Rudra shows her that she is the only one who can claim him...will she then fight and stand up against Laila...before that she will remain subdued..uncertain of what to do...should she fight for her husband or should she not? So you are right Rudra needs to first clarify to paaro that she has every right in him...then n only then will we see the fighter paaro staking her claim...edit: hey hey hey...can you believe it only one single paragraph...instead of my usual essay...I think I am in shock I dunno about you guys...😆😉

Why does Rudra who remained emotionally detached from Laila for eight years fall for Paro in, say, eight weeks? Is it the age old male attitude that for a tumble in the bed anyone will do, but ultimately when it comes to settle down find a pure and innocent soul? I think at the end of the day, that is what most Tellywood (bollywood used to, but not so much now) comes down to when we think about it. Most lead females DO have an aura of purity, and a panache for social justice, truth, moral and ethics. Not to mention that this IS a realistic personal many males have- conscious or subconscious: Do whoever you want, but the girl you bring home better be a "lady" in every sense of the word. I don't know if this was intentional from the CVs but it DOES reiterate a common theme we've seen in the past, and will most likely see in the future as well.Or is it just his personality trait- a consequence of his past?I know we can just say Paro Rudra bond is beyond all these things etc.. But,Why did he never feel an emotional bond to the woman he spent eight years with? This gets me thinking to: Nothing? He felt nothing? That's acceptable as well, but why stick with HER alone? Why not bed hop? Why not be with someone else who wasn't as needy as Laila (let's be honest, she is needy and clingy). Was it just a matter of routine and comfort? These are serious questions which I don't think the CVs thought much of when designing the script, but they do bring about aspects of Rudra that would be good to know.(Please forget Ankita's acting while considering this, just consider the character Laila.)Finally, the issue I have is that he's more than welcome to fall inlove with Paro in 8 weeks, hell even 8 hours if he so wishes- but he needs to learn to speak up when it comes to the words and actions of Laila. For a BSD officer is vocal reflex's leave a lot to be desired, and the fact that he isn't able to read behind Laila's motives clearly REALLY irks me because that contradicts the very nature of his character's persona and profession.I think as Paro or PaRud fans, people often forget that there should be an understanding of every "villain". Laila IS justified in being hurt- not hurting others, but in being hurt- and Rudra IS responsible in one way or another. Villianizing her is simply too easy and a cop out.
I feel I want to comment again after reading so many comments. Rudra is now treating Laila badly because she has attempted to hurt Paro. He always treated her harshly, she herself called him an animal. But since Haldi incident he has been harsh, even telling her their "friendship" was over. How he treats her now is discomfort with her trying to get close inspite if his married status. He also hates to see Paro sad. Does he love Paro has come up a lot. He was beginning to develop feelings for her before the CVs prematurely brought in Laila. Can love grow in such an environment; not easily. He is protective of Paro; he is acutely aware of her presence in his life and his need for such. They met and met again under spectacular circumstances. How can Paro not fall for him? She is a young innocent girl. Who can blame her? Something big will yet happen to move Rudra, but I hate this track with a passion. No woman, past 8 years or not has the right to come into a married woman's home and undermine her relation, with her hubby. Both Rudra and Paro are responsible for this; Laila isn't. CVs dropped, the ball on,this one for me. I'm skipping this show until Laila is gone or they fix things. I went back into Sas Bahu land because I thought this show was a breath of fresh air. Right now, it just stinks!
