Love happened. If a man does not love you in 8 months he's never really going to love you, let alone 8'years. My question back to you is this? Say Laila's plan to move Paro out of his life did work. Where would that leave Laila? Does she believe he will make her his wife? She signed on,to be a bed partner, that's what she was. Why is she demanding and expecting more now? It's not right, but it is what it is. That why more women should read the "fine print" before signing on for a position they don't,really want to be in.
You have another very interesting question...I fear another essay may be in the making from my side...đ
Thinking about it this way...i think I would like for it to happen...not that Laila drives her out but rather Paaro goes due to her oath...Rudra is left trying to figure out how to get her back...while Laila is left rejoicing at first thinking she has won the battle and Rudra is all hers' now...
if it plays out like this...I think then Laila's character has a chance getting saved...in that this is the only way, as of now, I see that will give Laila the wake up call that he does not and will not ever love her or be with her...she doesn't realise that Rudra doesn't want to be with her...she is adamant on believing that Parvati has come between them...she is in denial...what she fails to realise is that Rudra left her long before Parvati came into his life...for he leaves when he leaves Jaipur that is before he meets Paaro and before Paaro becomes part of his life...Paaro leaving and Rudra still not taking her back into his life will be the really needed wake-up slap telling her this man was never yours'...you were fooling yourself all these years that he was yours...he wasn't yours' when was in bed with you and will definitely not be yours' now...now that he has fallen for someone else...
You are quite right when you say that she is in an illusion for how can she think with Parvati out he will make her his wife...for he never wanted to make her his wife...ever and that was set in stone from the very beginning of their relationship...so what then? what will she do when this realisation hits her that she cannot be his wife for she herself agreed to that...she can in theory have the no-strings-attached relationship if paaro is out of the picture...but now that she knows he has it in him to be a husband...will she accept it...before he had clearly said he doesn't believe in commitment or marriage...but now that he has shown he is capable of it...then what...she says she wants the old Rudra back...but it's not so easy...not just for Rudra to change back into that man...n it won't be easy for her either if he changes back into the heartless man...because through various things it is shown she like any girl wants the caring husband...firstly during the haldi she begs him not to marry paaro but marry her...n then in todays episode when she goes to buy the same pink chudis Rudra brought for paaro...jealous as she was about the fact that he bought her those...she was tickled by the idea of him buying her chudis one day...even if she didn't say it aloud her actions and smile shouted out that hope loud and clear...so without even realising it she now wants not only the animal but the man rudra...but like you say she herself signed the death-warrant to that dream when she agreed to being just her bed-partner nothing else...
so it is a very interesting question of how if this scenario plays out...what will it do to Laila...it could make her or break her...quite literally...either she could finally wake up and realise Rudra will never be hers' and it would be best for her to move on...or it would break her where she will go completely psychotic...moreso than now...for now she is acting out in jealousy, under the belief Rudra can be hers' when the truth sinks that he won't either she will earn a trip to the mental asylum or jail for trying to kill paaro...or one way trip up to the heavens...by taking her own life...I would much rather the first happens where she wakes up from the illusion and moves on therefore redeeming herself...it will be her saving grace...but you never know...as she has already thought of using sumer so she may go the second way and come back as his wife...sumer is already latto over her as it is...but I would rather..she goes the first way redeems and then tries love with sumer...for I dunno about anyone else but I found that scene between laila and sumer (before she learns who he is) quite sweet and saw the potential of love striking there...if given the chance...but then again both of them are fools...laila and sumer and so are most likely to screw it up instead of actually moving away from the negative going towards positive...
anyway we are all plagued with questions and theories...let see what the cvs have in store...đ
edit: hey what do you know...not an essay for a change...I mean its' still long but compared to before...đ
