Absolutely beautiful- very heartwrenching. I love how you've captured his pain, how she asked him what he would have done if he had been in her position, and he realizes... what he's done, almost. It's very poignant. Wonderful writing, as usual!

I have no idea how Paro will react. And neither do I want to think about it.
