lovely post. agree ,we fell in love with rude, rough, strong,arrogant, hot tempered major. who was back today and hopefully remains like that having some additional qualities like possessive, protective , passionate and caring for paro.

I think today most of the people who love Rudy are overjoyed with the scene in the Bsd HQ. Not because the scene was extremely good or filled with content, but because we were deprived of the major saab's basic character traits, that seemed so blissful. His walk, talk, attitude, the ferocious nature, the intilligence, i missed everything. I had accepted that CVs will never return to the army life of Rudra and reduce him to be Paro's bholenath, but no thankfully, i was overjoyed with it.

And Ashish man, even in such short scenes, he manages to impress me. The way he interacted with the camel owner, it reminded me of the good old days. I hope i can see him holding his gun back before i am forced to leave this show or forum.

First don't just love the convo...join them buddy !! 😆 Now coming to what you say about Rudy...totally agree with you. Like you, even I had given up on him. Thinking that as the cvs are hell bent on making him the typical back seat good boy hubby of a strong super hero wife...I might as well resign myself to my fate. Rudy for me was gone...!! Therefore today felt good...so good!! I am a slave of two things...good story and good performances. Well the story has gone for a toss, at least the performances remain on par!! And Ashish's always superlative, always very fine, nuanced and not more nor less...just perfect!! Even a minute scene can leave an impact...imagine what havoc he can wreak if Rudra is actually let loose from the cage of domesticity he has been subjected to. And a cage it is, although gilded !!

Me and Dex (as I call her) have had chances of being comrades in arms...we have bonded on posts were we were in deep trouble over our foot in the mouth honesty 😆😆!! I know she can be brilliant and cutting (for some). Love her writing that always reflects her razor sharp intellect and fairness !!

Perfectly said... I wanted to seeti maro too in that scene. Infact,I liked that BSD scene even more than parud scene. His attitude, the look that he gave to the camel owner...it was all OMG OMG...simply to die for.

I am not going to hope...coz it leads to disappointments. As it is we are getting to see the original Rudra after ages...but will keep my fingers crossed for you 😆!! (and if I get Rudy back that way, why finger, arms, legs, hairs, eyes..all crossed)!!
