Not that Karisma was evil or anything, but I think it's very telling that it is the one who considers this a 'competition' who eventually 'loses'. For both Madhuri and Paro, it is a dance of joy, to celebrate love and life. It is Karisma and Laila who need to prove a point and turn it into a battle. Ultimately, it doesn't help as there never really was a competition. The rivalry was only perceived. Both Rahul and Rudra are crystal clear that they only ever wanted the one woman.

I love that dance sequence! i hope Ankita dances as well as Karishma because I've seen Sanaya dance on Madhuri's Ek Do Teen before and she's fantastic. I still can't help but feel sorry for Laila though. Yes Rudra doesn't want her now but does he have to treat her with so much suspicion? He's right in suspecting her of course but...I would have expected him to consider her a friend at least. It makes sense from the DTPH angle too, since you brought it up.

I know! I feel really sad for Laila too. Love makes people do crazy things. But as the Great Book says, as you sow, so shall you reap. It is Laila who had planted the seeds of distrust and they have bloomed into this tree of suspicion in Rudra's mind that casts a shadow on his perception of everything she says and does. I am glad though. Someone needs to be vigilant here.

I was skeptical about Rudra's sudden breakdown up until yesterday. I was having trouble understanding what brought on the catharsis in him. But then I watched the episode carefully and realized the doll, which is the only thing that symbolizes hope, purity, salvation in Rudra's otherwise
painful and morose past. And seeing that symbol of his innocence, adorned with the bangles he gave Paro, acted as his undoing. He could see how the little girl who reached out and helped him out of his personal hell all those years ago, is still as innocent, as loving, as giving, and as pure as she used to be. He may not know he is falling in love with her quite yet, but he knows he doesn't want to destroy someone who is so pure & so good at heart. I saw continuation of the same train of thoughts in today's episode as well. When he indulgently let her do her silly chanting to supposedly heal his arm, when he didn't move his hand away from her clasp at night, or when he wished he could talk his heart out with her, it all points towards one thing - he needs her, more than he realizes, she is her only chance at salvation now, just like she was all those years ago.

Laila wanting Rudra the janwar back was definitely laded with foreshadowing. We all know Paro plans to leave Rudra once he recovers. And if she ever leaves him, then in that very instance he will go back to being a ruthless, heartless demon. But you know where Laila will get stumped? Her "jaanwar" won't truly be hers you see, even in his worst he will be obsessed with Paro, all of his attention, his energy, his rage, his frustration, will only be channeled at getting Paro back in his life. Jallad or not, Rudra is Paro's for life now, and nothing Laila does or says will change this.

Another thing I found interesting is Mohini was behind the partition, and out of everyone's sight. This can mean that even this time her involvement in all this will go undetected. Maybe no one will realize she was Laila's ally even when Laila is ousted once everyone finds out about her true intentions.

I am loving this new developments that Laila's entry has heralded. Finally feel like the writers are doing their job right.

You should really write analysis post more often.

Wow Laddoo! Do I have the talent or do you? What a great analysis of my analysis. I loved it. Every single sentence 👏

I really agree with the part about the bangles- going back to a couple of days ago, when Rudra dropped the bangles, it was as if he was trying to rid himself of Paro's innocence in that moment. Her innocence burned his tortured soul, and he just couldn't handle the love she was lavishing on him.

It truly served as foreshadowing for the events to come- because Rudra forced himself away from her love that also serves as a protection, her love failed to protect him. He ate the poisoned laddoo, and was hospitalized- his life was in danger. And he will have to give her up because of this.

In a way, I think him putting the bangles on the doll represents him accepting the love Paro is giving him. Despite his hatred for it now, he is slowly warming up to her innocent heart and allowing it to fill in the deep wounds. When she leaves, I think the bangles will break, representing the loss of this innocence. It will be interesting to see.

Thank you for your lovely comment, Laddoo Baisa!

Of course. Paro is the dove Rudra the eagle will always take under his wings. But what I fear is, the eagle tends to fly high, without caring a whit for what lies below it. Can Paro, being the gentle dove she is, keep up with him? That is where I think Laila has the potential to swoop in like a vulture in between them.

SJ Baisa, there is no limit to the analysis you can do. The CVs have given us so much to ponder- I can understand how you may have difficulty restraining yourself from fully delving into the depths of the symbolism.

That being said, I would truly appreciate if you refrained from your traditional posts. I think this topic is something serious, that really needs to be understood in all sincerity.

I would love to know your input on these wonderful, wonderful symbols these CVs have given us.

Uff, SJ Di, please na- I really would love your thoughts on this issue that we're all grappling with:

Which one of the symbols we have highlighted truly represents the impending consummation of Paro and Rudra's relationship?

You are the expert in this, and so we are asking.

The dove is a surprisingly hardy animal, you know. I think we all underestimate Paro's strength and fortitude. And I think you make a mistake by characterizing Laila as a vulture. I'd rather represent her with the mythical figure of Icarus. He, with his man-made wings, soared too close to the sun. In his heady arrogance, he forgot that he is not truly a bird, but a mere man. And so equally great was his fall. Laila too shall learn the hard way that she is just not in the same league as Rudra-Paro.
