You know I have to say something that is amazing about this couple that is so unique to them and never ever seen on TV atleast I have not is their emotional honesty with one another no matter what phase they are in love or hate they are honest with each other. From the first moment Rudra and Paro met each other as kids they are defined by this emotional honesty. This emotional honesty that is so beautiful about this couple hope is kept intact and I hope it is Rudra who tells Paro about Laila.
Rudra has never hid his pain from Paro, not as a kid and not as an adult. As a kid he needed her, and as an adult he needs her when his job is in trouble what was there between them at that time but he cries to her tells her what will happen to him if he lost his job, talks about his mom is open with her about his hurt his abandonment, told her openly he is suffering being in this house and he is being punished. For Rudra Paro was never an enemy she is his emotional anchor even during the captor and captive phase he reached out to her to vent and showed his vulnerable side.
Now that she is his wife it is not shocking he would utter haath and show her his pain. This is nothing new he has always turned to her when he is in any pain physical or emotional. She didn't understand them at the beginning, and has yet to fully know him now, but that doesn't stop Rudra for calling out to Paro and here she comes she is trying to help him and has long ways to go.
There is a misconception if people think Rudra is now started on the journey to love. No he started on this journey 15 years back he has always loved her he is actually at the end of this journey of realization, but the end is not for love, journey of love will continue forever. He connected with that feeling when he met her again fifteen years later, something so familiar, she was waiting for him and he was waiting for her.
I think this Laila track can have only one fitting conclusion. Rudra to utter those magic words 'Rudra sirf Paro ka hai'. Will it matter if Paro is around or not to hear him say it no, in the end it won't be upto Paro to decide their fate Rudra would have finally lost the fight with himself, damn the truth about laila, damn my mother, damn the past, damn the exchange with bholenaath, Paro is his and he is not letting her go not this time not ever symbolic end to the episode.
Rudra is now realizing it is futile to fight his feelings and they will burst like a dam and he will scream what he has been wanting to say all along for so long for so many years to that young girl on the bus 'I love you Paro I have always loved you I might have betrayed my body to another but my heart and soul is one with yours so tell me how can you sacrifice me to bholenaath we are the same so if you have decided to sacrifice yourself let us go together for I am a part of you'
