This is beautiful! Such a pleasure reading this. You know this whole series is drastically different from your usual writing. I mean I have more or less read most your work, which focusses on profound storylines and the story being spun around it. This series on the other hand concentrates more of the innermost emotions embedded in these two characters' hearts, the sounds, the scents and the sights they are walking through each day. Its a visual delight!

I think writing as the words tumble out conveys the essence of your thoughts more honestly than if it were pondered over, especially in a Drabble.

Rae your subtlety in this Drabble is beautiful.

This piece was outright simple, yet it conveyed everything it had set out to. The apprehension in Paro's eyes, and the anger in his eyes, his form , I could visualize all that. And the rain - the sign from the Gods , that struck to me as the most beautiful part ever. Most people might not have had faith in something like that, but Paro's character is intrinsic to believe in it.
