Lovely post Sabs!!! As usual fab!!! You just brought back the whole episode in front of me through your beautiful writing!! Kudos to you!! And love ya as always!! 🤗

Today I am definitely not the one to share my thoughts on the episode in detail because with my caustic comments I may start the first cyber world war in your thread!! I tend to agree with JJKKL today and have to say it - Paro lost a supporter in me today. She deserves no sympathy for being so "innocent" and "naive" at least from me. I think soon I will be re-reading all the dictionaries for the meaning of these two words because Paro is hell bent on redefining them for me.

It was simply Rudra for me and everything else obliterated. Anyone can say that I am being biased here but today I simply don't wish to even give a thought to it. The stripping of Rudra's honor became a living nightmare for me because it reminded me of some unpleasant memories in my past, the pieces of my shattered life then, have still not come together. Therefore I could so relate to Rudra. Call me prejudiced. I accept it.

His eyes were brimming with unshed tears and I was shedding bucket full in my drawing room. Paro's "innocent" act of "trying out" her MIL's saree couldn't have been a better way to insult Rudra further. If my memory serves me right neither Dilsher nor Maithili had asked her to "try out" the saree on the very same day. This woman's "intelligence" has floored me completely and today I declare in an open forum that I indeed so not know the meaning of the words "naive", "innocent", "divine", "pure", "intelligent" et al. Didn't want to comment on Paro today but the woman has surprisingly found place in this post of mine. You know why? She has achieved what Kakisa was trying so hard all these years but failed! Paro has stripped Rudra emotionally naked and has left him vulnerable for the whole world to see, with her "innocent" acts of course. SHE is the one who put him to shame in front of 300 odd people at the Award function with her nonsense (looks like my anger while commenting on that episode was justified after all). And if I am correct then Rudra has a major problem with this thing alone - putting him to shame in front of 300 odd people. I am sure once he cools down he can put two and two together. SHE is the one who defied him, whatever be her reasons, and had stubbornly gone for the jhanki when he was trying desperately to protect her identity from Tejawat's goons! SHE is the one who refused the security provided by the BSD by other personnel. SHE the stubborn one had misinterpreted Rudra as she pleased. Maithili was about to join Paro in the category of "intelligent" ones when she wanted to help Paro from Rudra's tirade!! WOW Maithili you still think your dear Paro is so "naive" that she hasn't put your Rudra devarsa in a hot soup already?! Beats me! Samrat the smart one pulled her back in time and so also Kakisa stopped Sunheri!! The only light moment in an otherwise grim episode was Mohini's fav chair being ruined by Rudra beyond repair!! Rudra watch out! Kakisa is definitely going to hold a grudge against you for this!

Anyway, you must be wondering for a woman who claims to dislike Paro, is speaking too much about her. Well had to get it off my chest since I was awake most of the night because of a mere piece of fiction that ruffled too many traumatic memories! Don't believe that I actually did so - got so ruffled! Ashish did a fantastic job of the drunk Rudra who knew very well what he was doing. Take a bow Ashish Sharma!! The night belonged to you!

Don't know what my reactions will be when I watch the actual ceremony today. But then as they say tomorrow is another day!

Unfortunately I could need feel any sympathy for Paro today. I have been losing sympathy for her for the last few days anyway - ever since she proposed to him. And today I reached the bottom of the ocean. Feel only and only for Rudra.

Rudra should have been left alone. Would have found some peace in the long run. If not great love and happiness. Yeah I know - no gain without pain - but still

Regarding the actors - I felt quite irritated to see a fat officer, with a double chin that too, who could not even talk properly. They could have taken somebody who was trim, smart and talks well. That was such a let down.

@Bold: WORD!!! 👏

he made it all crystal clear to paro what his exact thoughts were about her fate/destiny talks...paro ...she is dumbstruck...she dnt expected this...she saw his anger/rage wen he trashed the chair with disbelief...

what is she going to do now?
what will be her reaction now?
will she come out her trance of fate/destiny?

i'm waiting anxiously to see paro's reaction to all this...today the CV's made us to sympathize with rudra...want to see paro's side too with equal power😊...oh and the wicked comedy with the chair that too when the emotions are raging with so much power was simply superb...dnt even know that comedy in such situation are even possible...here rudra is doing his thandav...all i can see is kakisa's reactions😆

Thank you, Kaykay. 😊 Delighted you liked it.
@ Ashish: Ashish was truly magnificent last night! His restraint actually made the performance more powerful and believable. But for all Rudra's control, there was never the slightest doubt that he was capable of murder. Which is why none of the Ranawats remonstrated when he broke Kakisa's chair or tried to hold him back when he went about preparing the havan. Gosh, he was completely spectacular!
@ Rudra's grievances against Paro out in the open: The long list of his grievances against Paro, the result of her pursuit, and what he thought of fate must have opened Paro's eyes to the devastating consequences of her innocent campaign for his hand. Although, I have to say that he definitely overdid the accusations. And that's something that at this point only he knows and Mythili guesses, because she has a good enough idea of his feelings for Paro.
Incidentally, nowhere did he say anything about Paro trying to burn Bapusa, so we can conclude that Mythili has been successful in clearing up that MU.
@ What will Paro's reaction be: Yes that's what will make this wedding scene. Last night her reaction was a welcome surprise. From the moment she heard Rudra's yells she was spot on. Her shock, pain for him, for herself at his accusation, her efforts to convince him. Everything was believable. I hope the CVs show her comprehending the full consequences of her unthinking action, and don't head towards further displays of divine certainty about the marriage fated to be, in which case she'll lose my sympathy.
@ Kakisa's chair: Ohhh that chair was a delightful touch. I'm still smiling as I type this!! What a wonderful way to lighten the whole mood and keep us entertained. Hats off to the CVs!!

Thank you, Hope. 😊 It was a memorable episode - one of their best. Just loved how they set everything up - the contrasts in the story reflecting in the characters, the build-up, the technical excellence, the acting, the direction, everything came together beautifully last night. Definitely, a team effort. One that clicked.

Sabs, @bold red: so true!! Therefore the pain for Rudra is even greater because he is seeing a repeat performance of his parents' sham of a marriage. His own feelings are involved here. He was taking his own time to decipher his feelings and before that Paro did what she did without thinking the consequences. This hate marriage is going to be more an eye opener for Paro than Rudra. Rudra felt Paro in his mom's saree, with his mom's mentoring and nurturing is giving him the same pain that his father received at his mom's hands. Hence the overdoing of the accusations some of which he could have put to rest had his brain been functioning normally.

hello joe ! hi sabs !!
the story line, at this point, is so excellently and so watertight woven that it has left no way to be biased towards any of the leads. If we really want to angry with anything, lets express our anger righteously towards the brutality of the fate that has destroyed the hopes and dreams of two young lives, and ripped them apart. We cannot just be angry with paro, what ever she did was foolhardy and naive but it was an ardent expression of love and dedication to the man, in whom she had found her safe harbour. And the world is cruel enough to use it against that very man and ruin him.we cannot be angry with rudra too, whatever rudra did yesterday, was the very natural impulse of a wronged man ...seek vengeance, wreck havoc the life of the person who supposedly brought his life, his career his honour to a deadly fullstop.
here , we r contradicting again today 😆

And i should thank you for expanding my vocabulary - raison d'etre is an excellent, and very suitable word to describe the episode. Rudra's rage is understandable. BSD should have dealt with the issue more sensibly. And as always, he ended up blaming it on Paro. He is not pausing to consider the impracticality of the accusation - how could have a girl like paro have it arranged the news to be published that way. Rather, i think he is letting go of reason and just blaming paro out of bitterness. And to what extend woukd he go to express his bitterness after marriage scares me.
Plz take the following as an innocent comparison - in IPKKND, where here was a hate marriage, there was a better reason for the male lead to hate the girl, a specific reason other than unwanted attraction. Bt here all rudra feels is resentment that paro indirectly caused his downfall, and reluctance to admit his feelings towards her. So i am not sure how long the MU or hate is gonna last.

Thank you, Aruni. 😊 Delighted you liked it. You make some great points:
@ BSD's way not sensible: Totally agree with you. You get bad press and you suspend the officer? Yes you have to be seen to be taking action to make amends, but suspension without giving him his due hearing - that was unreasonable and disproportionate. Just a knee-jerk reaction until the hubbub dies down. But one that undermines the BSD's credibility - hey this is the same officer they gave a medal to a few days back. Much better for them to have stood by their man and say they are investigating the standing-in-the-rain episode and related accusations. But this is serialdom, so...
@ Rudra losing reason: Yes Rudra piled on the blame completely on Paro. Unreasonably, even when he had to know that she couldn't have gone to the media in the condition she was in after the soaking. A large part of that, pain apart, was also his ego taking a beating because he'd been bested in this battle between them. Hence the 'you've won' litany we heard last night.
@ The comparison: to that other MU in that other serial is justified. 😊 And agree, this MU is full of holes. And I think like the ones before it will be quite short-lived. My guess is until Mala-Tejawat come on the scene, and then that will take over.

Hey Shreya!! 🤗
Rudra was terrifying under all his funny drunken-ness. I don't think any of the Ranawats was in the slightest doubt that this was a man not to be meddled with. Which was why Kakisa didn't so much as protest when Rudra man-handled the chair, and Samrat didn't let Mythili go to Paro's support. And yes, I was at the edge of my seat too, adrenaline coursing through me out of the TV many feet away. So completely understand what you must have felt. 😆
