Sorry to inrude but I just wanted to add one more thing I am liking about this show
Everything is always said out loud and clear here
Rudra and Paro for all their differences in outlook, share a wonderful trait as a couple

They talk, they dont agree, there are fundamental differences ,they dont understand but they know where the other is coming from

One huge relief and marked difference from another show that I loved

He was taking his own time to decipher his feelings and before that Paro did what she did without thinking the consequences. This hate marriage is going to be more an eye opener for Paro than Rudra.
Rudra felt Paro in his mom's saree, with his mom's mentoring and nurturing is giving him the same pain that his father received at his mom's hands. Hence the overdoing of the accusations some of which he could have put to rest had his brain been functioning normally.

Hey Mozart, Nice points!!
@ It was the saree that did it: Sharp point. 👏 Any remaining logic flew out of his brain the moment he saw Paro in his mother's saree. And the unreasoning accusations, based on all his insecurities, just flooded his mind.
But I am so glad all the accusations are out in the open. Because now Paro knows what arguments he's using to keep him from him acknowledging his feelings for her.
@ He was taking his own time to decipher his feelings: Yes this was a setback. But it just makes it much more interesting.
@ Eye-opener: For both I think, cos he might see a different dynamic to his parents' marriage and experience what it is to be loved.

the story line, at this point, is so excellently and so watertight woven that it has left no way to be biased towards any of the leads. If we really want to angry with anything, lets express our anger righteously towards the brutality of the fate that has destroyed the hopes and dreams of two young lives, and ripped them apart. We cannot just be angry with paro, what ever she did was foolhardy and naive but it was an ardent expression of love and dedication to the man, in whom she had found her safe harbour. And the world is cruel enough to use it against that very man and ruin him.we cannot be angry with rudra too, whatever rudra did yesterday, was the very natural impulse of a wronged man ...seek vengeance, wreck havoc the life of the person who supposedly brought his life, his career his honour to a deadly fullstop.
here , we r contradicting again today 😆

Well said Shreya.! Paro was right, and Rudra knows it too - it was fated. But hey which modern man wants to admit that he's walking the route fate mapped for him. And I don't blame him for rejecting fate.

And Paro will also go to the room as she has nowhere else to go. Somewhere in the night Rudra will break down and Paro will take care of him again. And in the morning Rudra will wake up (both of them in bed) scared - not remembering what happened in the night and regretting his decision to marry

Now out with your thoughts. And fast. Before the serial starts. 😃

Arre, this is Rudra we are talking about - the man who decimated an army with a wound in his back. I'm thinking def he'll have enough strength. And I bet he'll try to intimidate her a bit - you know, 'you made your bed now lie in it - get in bed', kinda stuff. 😆 But obviously won't go through with it. Bet he stalks off and goes for a long walk or a drunken drive or passes out, whatever it takes to prevent consumashun. 😃

A large part of that, pain apart, was also his ego taking a beating because he'd been bested in this battle between them. Hence the 'you've won' litany we heard last night.

Sabs, Rudra piled up blame on Paro because he has feelings for her that are unacknowledged by him and yet somewhere he knows it is HIS paro that he is accusing as she is closest to him to take out his anger. The unreasonable part comes from the drunken state where he has closed his mind to any reasoning right now. Once he is sober, he will see it. As for ego beating, he is a typical Indian male who has been inculcated with the fact that men are always superior from the childhood! Rudra as a man and Rudra as an officer are separate entities for him right now! Stripped of honor he is behaving like a normal man with a bruised ego. But the funny part is that he isn't letting go of his officer training that makes him realize that he has finally lost a battle albeit at home and not on the battlefield!!

@ Bold: Incisive point, Mozart.
And yes waiting for him to sober down. Just apart from the hangover, am gonna love watching realisation dawn about what he's done. 😃

maybe this can apply to rudra's state of mind at the moment ...
frustration and needs to be heard...!

Thank you Goguma. 😊
@ Bold: Well said. and I agree. It was all pent up. And came spilling out. Hope he feels lighter after his binge.

Hey feel free to intrude anytime. 😊 Especially if you're going to make such lovely points. And yes unlike that other show, here, PaRud do communicate beautifully. The problem they have is trust. But at least they talk. Huge relief, as you say! 😃

Lovely writeup as usual. Loved reading it. The episode was quite engrossing and brilliantly enacted and directed. It was Ashish's one man show, and he did it with panache. Sanaya was good as a hurt Paro.
Kakisa's chair sequence added to the humour quotient to the otherwise serious episode.
