@ Rudra losing reason: Yes Rudra piled on the blame completely on Paro. Unreasonably, even when he had to know that she couldn't have gone to the media in the condition she was in after the soaking. A large part of that, pain apart, was also his ego taking a beating because he'd been bested in this battle between them. Hence the 'you've won' litany we heard last night.

Sabs, Rudra piled up blame on Paro because he has feelings for her that are unacknowledged by him and yet somewhere he knows it is HIS paro that he is accusing as she is closest to him to take out his anger. The unreasonable part comes from the drunken state where he has closed his mind to any reasoning right now. Once he is sober, he will see it. As for ego beating, he is a typical Indian male who has been inculcated with the fact that men are always superior from the childhood! Rudra as a man and Rudra as an officer are separate entities for him right now! Stripped of honor he is behaving like a normal man with a bruised ego. But the funny part is that he isn't letting go of his officer training that makes him realize that he has finally lost a battle albeit at home and not on the battlefield!!

Will just add ... Rudra set a chain of events into motion when he decided to threaten Paro into a forced marriage she didn't want, if she didn't sign the papers that would save his job.

Today he himself was forced into a marriage he didn't want, to save his job.

What irony! Nicely played by the cv's here! 😆

Loved the touch of humour added by Mohini's chair, in what was otherwise a very serious episode. 😛

Thank you Diya. 😊
@Bold: Well said! 👏 It is poetic justice. He was willing to go through with the marriage against her wishes for the sake of his job. And now, he's having to go through with the marriage against his wishes for the sake of his job. Truly, wah CVs!
@ Mohini's chair: Ahhh that shot of Rudra standing on top of her chair, and the looks on their faces ...will stay with me for a while. 😆

@ Bold: Lovely phrase. And yes waiting to see what happens when they realise they are tied to one another for life and actually have to live the minutiae of marriage. 😃

And Sanaya's essaying of a scared, tearful, helpless, disbelieved Paro was what made us sympathise with her even during Rudra's ruin

Unfortunately I could not feel any sympathy for Paro today. I have been losing sympathy for her for the last few days anyway - ever since she proposed to him. And today I reached the bottom of the ocean. Feel only and only for Rudra.

Rudra should have been left alone. Would have found some peace in the long run. If not great love and happiness. Yeah I know - no gain without pain - but still

Regarding the actors - I felt quite irritated to see a fat officer, with a double chin that too, who could not even talk properly. They could have taken somebody who was trim, smart and talks well. That was such a let down.

@ No Sympathy for Paro today: I have to say that it was difficult to watch her happy and dressing up while Rudra received his devastating dressing down. The CVs couldn't have planned it any better if they'd deliberately wanted us all to hate Paro. The editing was such - juxtaposing her happy face with his trenchant grief. So I expect that she's in for a torrid time at Rudra's hands, and we will not hate Rudra for it.
@ Rudra should have been left alone: Yes, well, unfortunately fate decreed otherwise. It wasn't Paro who made their bus windows align, or Paro who chose to rescue her from the goons, or interfere in her wedding, or kill her husband, or take her prisoner, or shove marriage on her, or smear her blood in her hair and call her his Adharmi patni. So, yes it's debatable who should have left whom alone. Because once you set the snowball rolling you never know where it'll stop.
@ Regarding the unsuitable actor: Put like that It does seem very inconsiderate of the PH. 😃 My commiserations that your enjoyment was spoiled.

fab take on a fab episode.

i feel bad for both paro and rudra..

i read somewhere that
"a drunken mind speaks a sober truth"

maybe this can apply to rudra's state of mind at the moment ...
frustration and needs to be heard...!

Today I am definitely not the one to share my thoughts on the episode in detail because with my caustic comments I may start the first cyber world war in your thread!! I tend to agree with JJKKL today and have to say it - Paro lost a supporter in me today. She deserves no sympathy for being so "innocent" and "naive" at least from me. I think soon I will be re-reading all the dictionaries for the meaning of these two words because Paro is hell bent on redefining them for me.

It was simply Rudra for me and everything else obliterated. Anyone can say that I am being biased here but today I simply don't wish to even give a thought to it. The stripping of Rudra's honor became a living nightmare for me because it reminded me of some unpleasant memories in my past, the pieces of my shattered life then, have still not come together. Therefore I could so relate to Rudra. Call me prejudiced. I accept it.

His eyes were brimming with unshed tears and I was shedding bucket full in my drawing room. Paro's "innocent" act of "trying out" her MIL's saree couldn't have been a better way to insult Rudra further. If my memory serves me right neither Dilsher nor Maithili had asked her to "try out" the saree on the very same day. This woman's "intelligence" has floored me completely and today I declare in an open forum that I indeed so not know the meaning of the words "naive", "innocent", "divine", "pure", "intelligent" et al. Didn't want to comment on Paro today but the woman has surprisingly found place in this post of mine. You know why? She has achieved what Kakisa was trying so hard all these years but failed! Paro has stripped Rudra emotionally naked and has left him vulnerable for the whole world to see, with her "innocent" acts of course. SHE is the one who put him to shame in front of 300 odd people at the Award function with her nonsense (looks like my anger while commenting on that episode was justified after all). And if I am correct then Rudra has a major problem with this thing alone - putting him to shame in front of 300 odd people. I am sure once he cools down he can put two and two together. SHE is the one who defied him, whatever be her reasons, and had stubbornly gone for the jhanki when he was trying desperately to protect her identity from Tejawat's goons! SHE is the one who refused the security provided by the BSD by other personnel. SHE the stubborn one had misinterpreted Rudra as she pleased. Maithili was about to join Paro in the category of "intelligent" ones when she wanted to help Paro from Rudra's tirade!! WOW Maithili you still think your dear Paro is so "naive" that she hasn't put your Rudra devarsa in a hot soup already?! Beats me! Samrat the smart one pulled her back in time and so also Kakisa stopped Sunheri!! The only light moment in an otherwise grim episode was Mohini's fav chair being ruined by Rudra beyond repair!! Rudra watch out! Kakisa is definitely going to hold a grudge against you for this!

Anyway, you must be wondering for a woman who claims to dislike Paro, is speaking too much about her. Well had to get it off my chest since I was awake most of the night because of a mere piece of fiction that ruffled too many traumatic memories! Don't believe that I actually did so - got so ruffled! Ashish did a fantastic job of the drunk Rudra who knew very well what he was doing. Take a bow Ashish Sharma!! The night belonged to you!

Don't know what my reactions will be when I watch the actual ceremony today. But then as they say tomorrow is another day!

Hey Mozart!! 🤗❤️🤗❤️ An extra tight hug for you after last night's Rudra Reduction. I feel your pain. Last night was not nice for him, no matter how much Rudra took it on his chin and tried to show that he had it under control. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised and deeply moved that there were no tears for himself. Just pallor, burning eyes and a stiff upper lip. But under all that control was a man on the brink of a meltdown. And he had every right. This was his nightmare, his worst fear come to life.
I must say I was dreading this eventuality. Have been ever since it became a possibility when he was trying to get Paro to sign the statement. In the event, it wasn't quite as bad as I expected, and that was because of Rudra's control. He was such a 'man' about it.
But I have to say my sympathy for Paro was sorely tested at the start when she was dressing up as a bride, while Rudra was being stripped. I'm not apportioning blame because there's too much history between the two to clearly define where one's fault starts and the other's leaves off. It's a mess. A grand mess. But something just as grand will come out of it!
And Rudra has taken that first step towards getting his job back. As long as there's hope, there's life. And soon, you watch, that job will weigh less with him than it did when he first met Paro. Paro will become his life.
Hang in there Mozart. 😊

Let us start predicting about SR. My expectation is Rudra is so drunk he has no strength to venture out of the haveli. So he will be in the room. And Paro will also go to the room as she has nowhere else to go. Somewhere in the night Rudra will break down and Paro will take care of him again. And in the morning Rudra will wake up (both of them in bed) scared - not remembering what happened in the night and regretting his decision to marry

Now out with your thoughts. And fast. Before the serial starts. 😃
