Thank you, Jaz. 😊 Ashish was a one-man powerhouse!!! Restrained, raging, sarcastic, mad, reasonable, sinister, even funny..., and absolutely, spell-bindingly, fan-bloody-tastic!! 😃 What I loved most was how he only gave us momentary glimpses into his pain and rage. Most of the time he let it skim along on the surface - so crazily, mercurially, entertaining that even the Ranawats couldn't look away. I was glued to the TV last night. And he was the reason.

Wow nice take again!
And i should thank you for expanding my vocabulary - raison d'etre is an excellent, and very suitable word to describe the episode. Rudra's rage is understandable. BSD should have dealt with the issue more sensibly. And as always, he ended up blaming it on Paro. He is not pausing to consider the impracticality of the accusation - how could have a girl like paro have it arranged the news to be published that way. Rather, i think he is letting go of reason and just blaming paro out of bitterness. And to what extend woukd he go to express his bitterness after marriage scares me.
Plz take the following as an innocent comparison - in IPKKND, where here was a hate marriage, there was a better reason for the male lead to hate the girl, a specific reason other than unwanted attraction. Bt here all rudra feels is resentment that paro indirectly caused his downfall, and reluctance to admit his feelings towards her. So i am not sure how long the MU or hate is gonna last.

Lovely analysis, Sabs!
Will just add ... Rudra set a chain of events into motion when he decided to threaten Paro into a forced marriage she didn't want, if she didn't sign the papers that would save his job.

Today he himself was forced into a marriage he didn't want, to save his job.

What irony! Nicely played by the cv's here! 😆

Loved the touch of humour added by Mohini's chair, in what was otherwise a very serious episode. 😛

And Sanaya's essaying of a scared, tearful, helpless, disbelieved Paro was what made us sympathise with her even during Rudra's ruin

Unfortunately I could not feel any sympathy for Paro today. I have been losing sympathy for her for the last few days anyway - ever since she proposed to him. And today I reached the bottom of the ocean. Feel only and only for Rudra.

Rudra should have been left alone. Would have found some peace in the long run. If not great love and happiness. Yeah I know - no gain without pain - but still

Regarding the actors - I felt quite irritated to see a fat officer, with a double chin that too, who could not even talk properly. They could have taken somebody who was trim, smart and talks well. That was such a let down.

Brilliant post TV...

It truly was one of their best episodes ever. Many more to come for sure.

The man of the hour was Rudradev/Ashish!
