While the entire forum seems to be debating on whether Paro is in love or not 😃I am stuck on how amateurish the entire Thakur exit (temporary or permanent) has been, Paro's grief again being a collateral damage.

The last 3 months have hinged on Thakur being the kingpin of the proceedings. Paro's absolute faith in him, her father figure, she vehemently refusing to hear anything bad about Thakur.. all of which came crashing down on Thursday. She comes to know that he has not only betrayed an entire village but is also the cause of her parents death.

The entire track was wrapped up in a scene with Ruqmini and thereby emerged a stronger Paro. I like this Paro but still cannot wrap my head around as to why viewers never got a few more scenes on the emotional upheaval she must have undergone after knowing the truth that shook her very existence..instead we have a Thakur who has left a little black book behind and Paro jumping headlong in her earnestness to prove that she is innocent. What was the hurry?

To me Thakur's reveal was equal in magnitude with Thakurain's reveal. An entire child hood lost, made an orphan, a farce marriage and so much more.. all because of Thakur, the only saving grace in her life being the love showered by Mamisa, villagers and Thakurain.

Online IF users know about the PH and the director change.. still the abrupt closure echoes while watching. We are way past the honeymoon settling period of the soap, continuity and smooth transition is much desired whether you know what is happening behind the scenes or not.. after all they have a good ensemble cast that can pull it off.

Hey savvy, great post and I agree completely!!! What's the tearing hurry?

And agree with you completely on this part

The entire track was wrapped up in a scene with Ruqmini and thereby emerged a stronger Paro. I like this Paro but still cannot wrap my head around as to why viewers never got a few more scenes on the emotional upheaval she must have undergone after knowing the truth that shook her very existence..instead we have a Thakur who has left a little black book behind and Paro jumping headlong in her earnestness to prove that she is innocent. What was the hurry?

To me Thakur's reveal was equal in magnitude with Thakurain's reveal. An entire child hood lost, made an orphan, a farce marriage and so much more.. all because of Thakur,

WHY oh WHY the repeated skating over Paro's feelings, her side of the story???!!!

The betrayal of a father figure is at least as great as the betrayal by a mother ... moreover, the betrayal by the Thakur was completely out of the blue, while Mala's betrayal is fifteen years old. And moreover it was multiple betrayals - the killing of her parents, the killing of Bindi, Nandu jeeja's unknown fate and Paro's own fake marriage. And Paro gets over all of that in one conversation with a blue butterfly? 😲

No wonder the viewers are unable to connect to either Rudra's pain or Paro's hurt ... one is over-emphasized and exaggerated repeatedly, and the other is ignored as though it doesn't exist!

The writers need to sort out this lop sided story telling ... the sooner they do it, the better for the show.

Even I had high expectations from Thakur as villain. He was numerouno and I thought it was a little too easy for Rudra. I don't mind how his mother got revealed to him but Rudra can't defeat Thakur this easily. The little black book was something they showed at the start of the serial with all the contacts for him to leave behind suddenly he has become the dumbest villain of them all. Glory of the hero is in having to duke it out a powerful antagonist gives hero scope to shine. I think black book more than anything might be for mohini to get caught you think Thakur wrote her number down there is that why they rushed to show Thakur left it behind which is idiotic to begin with because the writers could have found other ways for Mohini to get exposed.
Even I would have liked more focus on Paro and her pain. The tracks are going fast but I hate dragging in serials so in a way I am glad the pages are turning fast it is like finally otherwise we would have complained either ways. What would have been more interesting to see if Paro suspected Thakuraiyan maasa too. I wish the writers added that dimension to her turmoil for her to feel betrayal by the same mother that would have been interesting to watch. Paro wondering if her mother knew about all this and losing faith in her and struggling would have given the story and her character another flavor. Because right now she believes everything too easily. Thakur tells her his wife is not involved Paro believes it so fast like seriously Paro the man just told you 15 years worth of lies what makes you think this one is the truth you are taking being naive to another level.

The balance is completely screwed up.
They have always foccused on Rudra's emotions/though process more than Paro but now its even more glaring. the overemphasis on Rudras problems and his mommy issues, the frequent breakdowns and crying spells he has had and in contrast, the life changing events Paro goes through are brushed under the carpet The volte face Paro has with regards to Rudra seems very abrupt. I get that she has realised he was right and is sad to see him troubled and wants to ask forgiveness for not believing him and prove that she didnt harm his father. But in all this does they are making it look like she forgot the betrayal she went through...the truth of her parent death..of her marriage..
the way she is shown unfazed after one scene...as if nothing has a lasting impact..creates a disconnect

A quick HHBB for now...will respond in detail in a bit.
I think it is time now to accept what has been staring us in the face from the beginning of the show:
Rangrasiya is much more Rudr's tale than Paro's. There, I said it...much against my eternally hopeful heart that was making me give them one more chance upon one more chance...
Will come back later to see if I feel differently😃

Agree with you, Savvy.

The story telling has been so lop-sided, right from the start. Okay, the PH is known to skim on the woman's story and make the hero larger than life. But here, it is just screwed up. People are wondering why the TRPs are not picking up. It's rather obvious. Paro's story has been completely brushed aside, it is hard to find a connect. Frankly, Mala's revelation and Rudra's breakdown had no impact on me. Maybe due to the incessant waterworks.

And why is Paro seeking Rudra's forgiveness? She was not wrong... just misinformed. A man who is a father figure, and practically brought her up. Versus the man who tried all means possible to get her to falsely testify. No prizes for guessing who she would have picked.

I think the story focus is a lot on Rudra the protector and Paro the healer. So Rudra is in pain and Paro will heal him. Paro is capable of healing herself and moving on but Rudra is not. Her hurt is not in your face type. Rudra is far more emotionally fragile. There is also another think how close Paro was really to Thakur I don't think they had any personal bonding it seemed more like he was there as her mother's husband, he saw her as god care taker, but in some scenes she seems more afraid intimidated by him. That is why I wish Paro had doubts about her adopted mother's betrayal that would have given scope to showcase her pain atleast privately, for her to wonder if Rudra is right about mothers, gives her more purpose to reach out to Rudra even more because now she knows what he is going through because she too feels betrayed by a mother same woman the irony. So all those that are thinking this begging Rudra is too much if they added the mother angle it would have given Paro a strong purpose to hang on to Rudra because she wants to show him yes you are right mothers in disguise are devils but I am not I understand what you are going thru and it would have been something they could have bonded over and what an interesting conversation that would be. For Rudra to find out about Paro and his mum, and to hear from Paro's mouth that she hates that woman too and this whole my paro is my mum carbon copy angle could be broken, he would see Paro as her own person as a woman she too can feel betrayed by another woman, woman just don't betray men and sons they can betray daughters too.

@Bold, completely agree. My mind goes back to their first face off when Rudra comes to Birpur with Paro to confront Thakur..each anticipating the others move⭐️

@Bold Italics - now wouldn't that be grand and wonderful to watch.. her thought process before she concludes that Thakurain Maasa is innocent.

Very true.. looks as if she has detached her entire past and her sole focus is to correct Rudra's impressions.
