Not only in Paro character, there is a disconnection in the whole serial
there is lack of continuity
Good scenes usually come after along spell of famine
Have not been impressed by any scene after paro monologue scene after Thakur fight
In order to focus on Parud love story , they ended the whole Thakur Fiasco within few episodes after dragging it for 3 months😵

A quick HHBB for now...will respond in detail in a bit.
I think it is time now to accept what has been staring us in the face from the beginning of the show:
Rangrasiya is much more Rudr's tale than Paro's. There, I said it...much against my eternally hopeful heart that was making me give them one more chance upon one more chance...
Will come back later to see if I feel differently😃

Visi🤗 .. it is their story but the lopsided story telling makes it feel as though it is his tale rather than hers. I have like you mentioned, adjusted to that POV since early Feb.. but Thakur was the basis of the Paro-Rudra saga.. her atoot vishwas that he could not do any wrong and to see it all crumble.. expecting more introspection from Paro's end is not wrong, is it?

Edit - In the fleeting moments we get like the Friday scene you paint such a beautiful picture about Paro and her inner strength😊. I can only imagine how many wonderful posts we can see in the forum if the scales were balanced😃

You are not alone .. I could not empathize either even though I perfectly understood the setup. The reason is exactly what you had mentioned, Friday's breakdown after seeing his dad in the hospital was very effective... and this came in close heels after that, too soon and too frequent.

well i completely agree.. it has simply led me to feel annoyed at the overemphasis n now to fast forward when it happened cz its just yawn-worthy..🥱
n the brushing under - i have made peace with.. OR try to coax myself with a mental scene where i have a different story in my head..

cz its stupidly polarized n at least i have something to admire in the underemphasized one while the other one just makes me fast forward n cringe actually when i should be feeling sad!
bottle feed too much n u will throw up..

n i don't any longer talk abt it here.. cz apparently most don't seem to care n i am no longer pointing them out..

nice post n liked all the responses u got here.. makes me feel good that i am not the only 1 feeling this due to some so called biasedness.. n that it just is fact! 🥱

I'm in complete agreement with you. The show is being rushed and the important parts like her feelings (which helps to keep the female audience attention) is being rushed.
It's strange but I feel nothing for R, he cries and we see his continuous emotional upheaval but it doesn't resonate with me. However, her story and her emotions and feelings is the one I have been waiting to see, but she is constantly sidelined.

I'm not sure what the CVs are doing. They have a great concept in this show but there is a disconnect somewhere and it's reflected week after week in the TRPs.

I agree. I know they want to show her simplicity, but wish they'd handle it with a little more thoughtfulness and care. I'd hate o see her turned into a caricature - it diminishes her role for me. They showed her as a thinking person earlier... also I'd really like them to stop makng rudra repeat the beautiful woman line now...it has gone on and on...

I like the way he's wih his father - gruff love..

p.s. with this Gauri act...I'd like them to show that he knew/suspected it was her all along...he seems to be too aware of her (...her touch, when she's asleep...can't imagine he'd feel so conscious of a random beautiful woman ;) )

I am back🤗
@Bold: Exactly my point...the persistent lopsidedness of it all has made me lose hope. Once is chance, twice coincidence, three times or more -pattern, or worse still, will. Ouch
@Underlined: You would think... I have said it before and will repeat...for a love story to truly work, the audience has to be truly invested in both the leads, which was the case in TSTSNBN ( the show that shalt not be named).😃 The powers that be should realize that when they make the two characters equally rich and detailed, they each add to the other's appeal, not detract anything from it.
We have heard and seen so much about Rudr's pain, his turmoil, his angst that we can now predict with better than fair chance of being right, when and where the first tear will drop...right or left eye. He finds out about his mother, and we are given not one, not two, but three scenes to show his pain. The only thing that makes this a tad bearable is Ashish's acting skills.
Ultimately, it is a huge case of lost opportunities. Everytime they forego the chance to show similarly detailed reactions of Paro to major events in her life, they are losing on a big chunk of audience empathy and attachment. I was so disappointed, and you know this, when she spent all that time in the haveli with not a single scene of any sort of reflection/remembrance of her life before reaching the haveli. No remembrance of her wedding, her Mamisa, her friend, her husband...nothing, zilch. Again, it all boils down to an imperfect understanding of how a great love story works. You cannot have one half of it exist only in the frame of reference of the other half.
You are absolutely right in expecting that Savs, as do I, and my initial post did not for a minute meant to suggest otherwise. Was simply stating what sadly appears to be the case.
Great post and replies, all!⭐️

Excellent post. 👏 I wholeheartedly agree with the points you've made.
Abrupt closure of tracks and brushing things under the carpet has never benefited any serial and I see that happening with RR. This is not a good sign. The makers of RR and the creatives have plenty of experience, they should know it. Yet somehow they are repeating the mistakes many shows have made in the past. 😒
I wasn't entirely satisfied with the way they dealt with Thakursa's track. It was all too easy. I understand that they wanted to focus on Parud's love story...and it is certainly important...but Thakur's angle was compromised.

RR has a wonderful concept and the story has a lot scope but the tracks aren't being explored the way they should have been. The show has a steady viewership but what really builds a connection between the viewers, the TRP viewers to be specific is the female lead. There is not enough focus on Paro's story, her feelings, her relationships...which is possibly one of the key reasons why the TRPs aren't getting a boost, despite the fact that it's a good show.

At this point, the balance is missing and they need to do something about it soon.
