A very banal query: If he wants her to believe him, why doesn't he take the first step by believing her to be innocent? Now that he knows that she believes the Thakur blindly and asks her to open her eyes to reality, will he do the same? Rudra says that Paro should stop believing the Thakur blindly, isn't he too guilty of blindly pronouncing her complicit? And wanting her to admit her complicity in the crime? They are both guilty of BELIEVING in something that is not true.
I guess he already believes that she is innocent or else he wont b opening up his heart to her in this manner today almost on the verge of pleading .. he believes she has no idea about the whole smuggling involved with these weddings but because she is only witness alive from the whole baarat , so only her signatures will b considered valid .. otherwise I dont think he anymore doubts her in any sort of involvement related to Thakur 🤔...
Paro too makes it clear how she saw Thkaur treating villagers like his own kids since childhood and so she respects him for that and thats when Rudra pours his heart out because now he is sure that Paro is only trusting Thakur on face value but knows nothing about his reality ..
