To me, if I was in Paro's shoes...the insult that I would have felt in public (a public that is in a remote village and who gives man of the household a status of GOD and who has witness but misunderstood his gestures as love)...while being slammed with mehendi on my palms...would have been added torture amongst all the intimidation and manipulation that is already going on!

Ah but you forget that they do have views on PDA too...
and its not so much that ...i said sexually invasive and add to that in public..he was being wantonly sensual...a touch that she did not ask for ...a marking that she did not concede to

Yes because for the audience this is a real marriage.. The women there don't see anything else except this is a mehndi ceremony. It would have looked far more odd and been more insulting if he had slammed the mehndi on her hands.
This was a battle of wills and he did go the extra mile to win but not at The cost of her pain. The mehndi wasn't harmful to her burnt palms either..!

why do i feel I have just been pranked and sarcasm seems to be pouring my way...😃.

but yes one could see it that way too that one is over thinking and one ought to see it as just a show...but then again that is subjective right ...

Forgive me for my little knowledge on web acrynoms...what is PDA?😆
I did realize u said sexually in public...but then I also mentioned the public were viewing his "sexual" gestures as "love" coz he is the "GOD" of her...village thinking into action😳
So she did not ask...she is dying a thousand deaths...but the village will likely to think otherwise of the woman if the "GOD" slammed mehendi on her...

I felt that too...because we know that Rudra is good and in the end will turn around, we can see the scene as being romantic...but all the while she was struggling to pull her hand away from him and he was forcibly putting mehendi on her...I kept wanting to slap Rudra on his face...I felt almost as trapped as Paro does...does she need to kill herself for him to see that she isn't going to sign the paper...right now he is blackmailing her to sign the documents...N i think such documents can be easily refuted if the witness explains the circumstances under which the signature was taken...Anyway...I just hope Paro takes her revenge by making Rudra beg for her forgiveness ...I really hope there is a good repentance track...

I can see that Paro needs to see that Thakur is bad...but Rudra also needs to see that he is bruising an innocent person in all this...The judicial system is built on the foundation that It's ok for a criminal to walk free, but an innocent should never be punished. So, Rudra needs to feel the pain of all the emotional trauma he has put Paro through...

oh thank god, i almost didn't visit the forum after watching the episode because i assumed most people might have liked an episode which left me totally disturbed. i have this knot in my stomach and i'm feeling kind of sick, like something awful happened to someone i'm close to. i cant imagine the kind of mental and physical pain paro must have been going through before, for those 8 seconds, and after - for her to do such a thing shocked me. i sort of understood where both were coming from but as the weaker opponent and being a woman i felt for paro. ashish and sanaya did a great job making it look so real, i was repulsed by rudra's actions and physically recoiling away from what they were showing onscreen today.

oh shoot! I just did that napster sa, will you hate me forever?
Kidding aside, the desperation in Paro's eyes was clear, so was the concern in Rudra's eyes, lets not forget that.

That still does not make it right by Paro. She is painted into a corner and there is no telling what her desperation might lead her to do.

Thank god I was not the only one who thought it was not romantic. I was really wondering why doesn't it look romantic. I didn't like the abuse.

I felt paro's helplessness. She tried her best to avoid the mehendi by hurting herself but all Rudra wanted was to break her. I think it was not meant to be romantic and hope that was the assumption. Maybe it's a way to show he cared that she was hurt but no way romantic and the song was a bad choice. Not apt for the situation. Rudra is trying to break her but she's not giving up...but it's sad that it's turning out to be abusive.

I liked the last scene where paro cries, I could see her helplessness :( but I also saw rudra's care.

I am think there won't be a wedding... There will be one but not now. These 2 are stubborn and the thing is they don't trust each other. So even if they have voiced the truth from their end the other is not ready to believe it. Just waiting to see if there will be a twist on the scheduled wedding day.
