Honestly not entirely ( but not to say I won't come back to it)
Cos when u go Quinten, Jamie my eyes rolled
Swathi I don't expect much from a daily that has no time to fart inbetween takes ... So it is unreasonable to expect scene perfection
The thing is there have not been many scenes that came together quite as well in this series both technically and artistically one or the other out perform I have criticized this hence my leap to point out a good one when I see it.
Thus said I guess not mentioning Paro I have committed the sin of saying she ain't good by omission ... Truth is I liked said scene I wrote it
N yes I liked the fact that it was not lob sided no one out did the other so all in all for me it was a good take for desi ( hindhi) TV land...

I liked laila in earlier episodes including the one where she saw Parud together for the first time. I liked her in her seductive avatar and thought Ankita did a good job there. She matched Ashish very well and left a good impression overall... But yesterday, I found her OTT. Same goes with the scene where she gets upset when her asks for clothes. I think then she tried too hard and comes out OTT. Entirely my personal viewpoint... I also did not like her dance. There was no grace in it at all... But I was thinking maybe she was too mad and that dance was purposely made to look like that (since I have not seen her earlier dance to compare...). If it is I have to admit Ankita is brilliant!
As for Ashish- I second SJ word by word on what she wrote about him... In my POV he definitely overshadows every actor/actress in all the combined scenes... The subtlety with which he brings numerous emotions is remarkable... I am amazed by him so far... Hope he continues the good work...

😆 FLS I actually read it all, because I loved Django Unchained. But the above sentences caught my attention. The female characters, with the exception of KakiCumMaasi, would have a hard time overshadowing Ashish - be it Ankitha or Sanaya. Ashish's role, as you said, is author backed and well written, not to mention the fact that the actor himself takes his job very seriously and embarks on character immersion, dialog refinement, method acting to breathe and live the role. I am not sure how long he will be able to sustain the momentum, but his hardwork shows on screen and has, for me, overshadowed Ankitha and Sanaya, whenever he has been on screen with them. I know i am in the minority opinion but what can i do, thats just how i feel.

Ankita was brilliant yesterday as Laila .. Though i did not liked her dance 😕I did not find tht fire in the previous scenes because they wr just glimpses of her .. As for Sanny as Paro ya she still has to get those scene wr she can. Burn the scene with Ashish .. Whatever we saw till now was just few instances wr she was very good with Ashish but Tht might be because her role is like tht .. But her scenes wr she showed anger or grief she was totally brilliant .Lets hope she get those kind of scene wr she will be able to show more fire n burn the screen with Ashish . 😊 N Ashish is brilliant with both of them no doubt it's power packed role for him ...

I would partly agree and disagree with your view. Agree about Rudra and Ashish and not taking anything away from him, but whenever Paro was given a chance to perform she nailed it. Her breakdown scenes in the interrogation room and her confrontation with Rudra when she refuses to bend were some of the best scenes she got. Borrowing from FLS without being given "zingers", too many powerful or any dialogues sometimes or scope of much histrionics and lately the creatives are taking away the lens from her trauma and thoughts, she is still able to make her presence felt. Over the past few weeks the script is transforming from PaRud story to Rudra's story and hope the writers find a balance soon or maybe it is another love story of a deeply traumatized man. Talent wise and dedication, I find both pretty equal, though one is more method style and the other spontaneous. Agree about Mohini, but without the killer dialogues her character would be difficult to enjoy as the overbearing and scheming MIL/vamp. Strictly my POV for whatever it's worth.

Other than those lame dance moves( faulty choreographer) Laila has been always a treat to watch and Ankita is actually better than the co-actors around in her scenes and well say whatever Paro is the only very loosely written character, though Laila is supposedly to have a lose character. what irony and ghagra.!
