I too noticed another pattern so far whenever they are in a romantic embrace it is Paro who breaks the moment Rudra looks like he would be lost forever if Paro didn't give him a reality check. Also the last bit of dialogue from Rudra it was him calling the situation as it is no mind game, he was genuinely trying to make Paro understand the differences between their two worlds and maybe for what it is worth he wants to save her from his darkness. He is after all her protector not only does he want to protect her from Tejawat but he also wants to protect her from himself.

@ Rudra not sadistic: Agreed. He is less sinner than sinned against. And while he has pushed the boundaries, he has never outstepped them just for the heck of it.

@ Rudra's plan backfiring: He should have guessed that he was susceptible to her when Laila's touch left him cold. And even in her sizzling presence, all he could think about was one wraith of a girl. She'd already possessed his mind. And as a man of his experience should have known it's the mind that arouses. So that when he deliberately awoke Paro to the minefield that was an ideal husband, a proper marriage, that he was playing with fire and exposing himself to an ideal wife too. Sure enough he was burned too by the heat that sprang up between them.

@ Paro comes to her senses first: Well observed. 👏 And that's bound to be the case in this initial stage when Paro still hates Rudra and is just emerging from the trauma of her widowhood. I wonder if the CVs will have the guts to portray Paro later on as the one who sexually desires Rudra equally if not more.

@ The last lines a reality check: Completely agreed. 👏👏 Paro led the way. She honestly confessed that this was not what she expected in a marriage with him. And in return he was equally honest and pointed out what she was letting herself in for. That he was familiar with all those poisonous emotions, but they would kill her.

But it's a strange case where the viewers are petitioning the PH to not bring the temperature down, but to continue feeding the fire...Silly fans!! Whatever will they think of next. 😆

Great observation, Mozart. 👏 👏 Paro was definitely affected to the point of distress. And Rudra's harsh realities just tipped her over the edge into tears. Rudra was trying to show he didn't care - that he could be ruthless and win the argument. But I think that all the same she, and their potential situation, got to him too.
