Certain facets about Rudra character was exposed today. He knows too well about who he is and his shortcomings and he knows who Paro is and what he thinks she can handle. I think Rudra that is why is a fascinating character because he is not the typical bad boy hero who thinks world has been harsh on him so he is going to give it back ten folds to all because it is his god given right to be an ass. Rudra is not cruel just because he can be, he knows what he is and he doesn't step on others toes or use this power unwisely to suit his sadistic needs. I don't know what Rudra had in mind when he left Laila but the way he was talking it sounded like he was going on the route of showing Paro of how he can be a loving husband, he was trying to seduce her hoping to repulse her but something unplanned happened after. He was genuinely attracted to her and danger signals went on in his head he definitely doesn't want to go down that road. Did he somewhere realize he can't play this game because he might fall victim in his own scheme so in the end he reverted back to his usual ploy of I am going to torture and make you miserable strategy so what else is new he has already told this to Paro before ands she knows it. I too noticed another pattern so far whenever they are in a romantic embrace it is Paro who breaks the moment Rudra looks like he would be lost forever if Paro didn't give him a reality check. Also the last bit of dialogue from Rudra it was him calling the situation as it is no mind game, he was genuinely trying to make Paro understand the differences between their two worlds and maybe for what it is worth he wants to save her from his darkness. He is after all her protector not only does he want to protect her from Tejawat but he also wants to protect her from himself.
