... If Paro's so-called baraat was not stopped by BSD officers?

If Paro had crossed that border with a man (apparently her husband) who was a TRAITOR and didn't think TWICE before offering her as a bait ?

If Paro had ENTERED that unknown world from where NO OTHER girl from her village never ever returned.. ? Like her own sister Nandini?

If she had entered a world where there was NO ONE to stand up for her?

I read in some posts that Rudra has destroyed her.. HOW?? Yes if we DO look from Paro's POV, she may feel like he has destroyed her.. because unlike us viewers, Paro knows NOTHING about arms dealing and her good for nothing late husband ..

Unknowingly, the DAY since Rudra met her.. He has ONLY protected her.. !!

  • Be it him saving her from the goons who were trying to attack her honour..
  • Be it him, unknowingly doing an unplanned raid in her baraat and figured out that her in-laws were mere smugglers .. If this had not happened, then she would have had the same fate as the other Birpur girls..
  • Be it him, saving her from her own cunning and opportunist husband by shooting him while he was trying to make Paro as a mere bait to cross the border with all those arms and weapons..
Be it him, saving her from a future that could have been worse than death..

So where Paro stands now is LOADS better than living an unpredictable life where her life and honour BOTH were at stake.. Rudra has NEVER crossed the line of decency with her.. Or made her feel uncomfortable around him.. He has unknowingly, always ended up being her savior.. He has UNKNOWINGLY saved her from suffering by the hands of smugglers.. Because NO ONE knows what happened to those girls, after they used to cross border with their so-called husbands and in-laws.. So how can WE , as viewers say, that he has ruined her? Even if he lets her go free, then also her life is NOT safe because Tejawat's men would track her down and kill her .. Unknowingly what she has to go through currently is the ONLY way in which she can live.

Rudra will ALWAYS protect her no matter what. Even this marriage blackmailing will NOT just save his job. BUT.. If Paro signs those papers, then Thakur would be exposed .. And when he would be exposed, THEN only Paro's life can be free from any threat. Because as long as Thakur is there out in that cruel world, she would NEVER have a freedom in real sense even if Rudra lets her go.. So this signing of paper, is beneficial for both of them..

But little does Rudra know, that Paro baisa is herself clueless about her Thakur's bad side.. He is asking her to sign those papers because he THINKS that her HATE for him, is bigger than her love for her village.. He has over estimated the 'hate' of Paro baisa i guess .. 😉

Blame games are human nature, Candy. Especially when you are not willing to see a situation from an OBJECTIVE POV and a character's POV in a parallel fashion.

Apparently, Rudra should have had some divine echoing announcement that the only girl in the baraat of criminals is INNOCENT. Similarly, Paro should have had guessed it in her dreams that Rudra was her HERO and not the villain of her story. 🤔

In short, don't try to explain anything to anyone. Everyone has an opinion and a POV- leave them alone with it.

Still, good post and it talks sanity and objectivity.

Very well said, Candy!! 👏This was a much-needed post and a timely reminder to those who cannot see how Rudra has been a blessing in disguise for Paro.

I agree Vicky..!! 😳 Its actually interesting to read different POV because it makes discussing the show, more fun.. :)

I was actually myself wondering today that what could have happened if she HAD crossed the border that day? it could have been much worse from what she is going through currently.. Unknowingly, Rudra saved her from having a blank future.. Atleast he is there to protect her..

TBH, i can discuss an OPINION but not a BLIND ACCUSATION, which is often the case with extreme reactions. 😆

Rudra kept Paro alive and he saved her from a life of trashcans. Its another thing that he protected her with a wall of barbed wires, instead of an angelic embrace.
