I'm almost always on Paro's side, but one has to look at the big picture here. And Rudra has definitely been Paro's saviour all the way through.

It's very clear that Paro's marriage was just a front for the arms smuggling. No one knows what happens to the girls once they cross the border, and no once cares. The villagers don't dare to ask. Paro's fate if she had crossed the border with Varun would definitely have been far worse than it is now.

Paro has no idea of the truth. While she is innocent of what Rudra thinks her to be, he too is innocent of what she imagines him to be. They have to both discover each others' truth.

agree with what you said candy ,

Rudra is actually the angel in devil's avatar , he itself actually dont know that he is being an angel more than a " jallad"😆, he wants to hurt her more but always end up protecting her. , and Paro is also not able to discover his real face behind the "jallad" avatar.this equation between Paro and Rudra is actually confusing

i hope that Paro realises this fact soon and

Very true sis. Paro would have been in a worse position if the baraat did pass through. I think this realization to her will only come from Nandini and only her.
