Rise for him in which way? Has her life not fallen apart too? Being under the threat to be married (which even Rudra hates) or signing that she was an accomplice to gun smuggling and a traitor, what are her options?

i loved that scene with Rudra and his father in Paro's presence...when he blames his father for how he's turned out...all bitterness and anger ...and rightly so...his father fed him that poison when he was just a kid...how else was he supposed to turn out...how else he could've survived his fathers poisonous rants day and night if not by turning into an unfeeling monster...accor. to him...now his father says to forget all that and live a normal happy life that includes wife and kids...i mean How on earth could Dilsher not see the grave crime he has done to his son...he needed this reality check...

this wedding/ court-martial drama is to hopefully bring Rudra and Paro close... as in understanding of each other...i hope Paro soon see's through all that bitterness and barood as he called his heart and finds that little kid she wanted to empathize with...coz that kid desperately needs someone like her...someone who can care, comfort and love unconditionally...
I'm not too sure how long they'll drag this witness thing...i just wish they'll move on with it.

as usual excellent post MKM👏

That is a brilliant post!

I will always hold Dilsher and Maya for having ruined a kid's childhood and robbed him of a sense of security. As much as I do feel Rudr's agony, his anger, his bitterness, I also believe he did an exceptional job with himself. He got himself to be a fine human being. He is def not social, but he cares in his own way for his staff, his father, Paro! It shows when his subordinates pledges his loyalty to him, It shows when his father respects him enough to abide by his judgement, it shows when Paro clings to him in the face of adversity. I am sure he will break through the clutches of the past... when his future beckons.

I simply love the scenes when Dilsher, Rudr and Paro are together. They have such a wonderful bond, though unacknowledged, they are family. Though Dilsher is Ranawat, not Papa, though Rudr is Major Saab, not Beta, though Paro is the ladki, not bahu/Mangetar... they are a unit. The way the scene in Rudr's room panned out... it was just like a family dealing with a casualty... Rudra and Paro worked in complete sync to comfort Dilsher. The moment was so poignant, no wonder Dilsher wanted to grab the moment for Rudr, Paro and himself! Rudr lashed out at his Ranawat for the poison he fed him all these years... but I am sure, when Maya returns, Rudr will stand by his father and no one else. As demented and dysfunctional the relationship between the father and son is... they have been eachother support when the world turned against them and they will remain so.

Another wonderful thing about the trio is, they fight with eachother, they get very bitter towards the other... but at the slightest threat against one of them, they don't think before stepping into the line of fire. There is always one person who speaks, Dilsher, Rudr or Paro and the other two retain their calm and play along... that is what a family does, don't they. Today, Dilsher lashed out, while Rudr stood in silent support of his father... though he does not agree with the marriage and grandkids logic, he was not going to let down his dad or Paro.

It is a good sign that all the pent up frustrations in Dilsher and Rudr are coming out... atleast they are discussing things now... and that is Paro's influence in their lives. Dilsher has made his share of mistakes... but now that he realises it, he will not resign to the monster he created. Though Paro will be in the fore fighting this monster, Dilsher will be Paro's strength and confidence to turn the monster into a Prince again.

This family will finally find its peace... all of them deserves it and all of them will do their bit. As much as I want to know Maya's reasons to abandon her family, I don't want her to disturb this equation! If Maya is indeed Thakurainsa... the trio will be torn again.

Well said... But Dilsher is also reaping his misogynous dose. He could not confront Rudra when he gave his hateful speech. But for sure it is going to impact Paro a lot. Even though he says he is poisonous, by the way he treats Paro (while she sleeps particularly) he does not seem to be that kind of guy (may be he didn't realize it himself).

Brilliant post dear 👏

Just think of Paro's dilemma now...she is gradually discovering how and why Rudra turned into a jallad...her eyes r moist seeing his sufferings...but at the same time she cannot forgive him for ruining her own life..for passing down all the poison inside him to this innocent soul

this is the best part of RR...they r portraying the relationships in a different..never before has any father-son relationship in any show fascinated me like Dilsher-Rudra

I am glad they are showing how Rudra has been affected by the earlier side of Dilsher too - otherwise - it seemed the earlier scenes were a mistake and suddenly Dilsher is a changed man and Rudra has no recollection of his drunk father who taught him to hate women with his pain over his wife leaving him!

However, I agree the burden of changing Rudra should not fall only on Paro!

Beautiful post!
A saddening episode. Couldn't see Rudra going through so much turmoil. Couldn't understand DIlsher and his wishes. Indeed they are 15 years too late. Feeling equally sad for Paro for now having to bear the cross. How is she going to manage Rudra Pratap Ranawat minus the title 'Major' if it happens? Is she even ready to accept Major Rudra Pratap Ranawat in all his uniformed glory?

OMG! You are Poco! What a revelation! I used to read ur posts in IPK or in PKYEK forum (Sorry dear, dont remember exactly which forum, coz most of the time, I m a silent reader). But ur post were fantastic n I just love the way you analyze the whole scenario! But I remember you in QH forum, n there also I used to read ur posts only!

Well, wat I loved in todays episode was Rudra's out burst on Dilsher. Papa Ranawat has filled so much venom in his veins n not in a day or two, but fr 15 long years! n now he is expecting a Saint Rudra who wl respect women! Why! For 15 long years Dillsher was living in oblivion n i think in those years he might have realized what he did with Rudra n why Rudra is like this today! After seeing Paro, a rare positive energy in his dark n negative surrounding, his fatherly instincts might be provoking him to push Rudra n Paro into unison! But, how he forgot that what he did with Rdra's mind for 15 long years, is nt that easy to erase in a matter of few days!

I think, just like any father, Dilsher too has become a bit selfish for his son's happiness. He cant see his young son devoid of any emotion, not having a regular life, no love, no care. Paro has entered as a ray of hope, and Dilsher is trying to brighten his son's life with this ray. This is what I think, I though blame him entirely, along with Maya fr Rudra's destruction, still sympathize with him because he has failed as a father n now trying desperately to amend his broken son.

All I can say, a wonderful post Vicky, beautifully written.

Profound insights as usual, Vicky. 👏

I remember being appalled by Ranawat's toxic taunts to his son when Rudra returned to take him to the haveli. He was clearly NOT a nice father! And I was one of those who found him guilty of very many fathering sins; shocked that Rudra had had to take such an abusive upbringing. All that is still true. But the CVs have also shown us a different, more loveable side of Ranawat. So that it is no longer so black-and-white for me. If a happy mother makes for a happy child, then an unhappy father (and Ranawat was hugely unhappy) must raise an unhappy child. Knowing all that, I can't blame Ranawat entirely now. He was a weak man, indulging himself in his sorrow, and taking out his punctured ego on Rudra. Unforgiveable!! And yet...
My only hope is that having realised the damage he has inflicted on his son, Ranawat now does what he can to help heal him. It's never too late.
