All that Dilsher and Maya have sowed, Paro shall reap.

As much as I like Dilsher's character, there are times I feel like giving him memory plus capsules. What's with this whole shoving down of YRF and Sooraj Barjatya films through Rudra's throat? Now, that you have grown old, calmed down with age and experience, now, that you have seen Paro and how she is under Rudra's skin , you are dreaming of their fairytale and grandkids. FAIR ENOUGH. But what about all the damage, the psychological and emotional cruelty that you have done to Rudra since his childhood? The very you who replaced the blood in his veins with misogynist poison day and night till he turned into a full grown man , now that you wants Rudra to love, marry and respect a woman? Oh boy! How layered human-beings can be? They sow opium and expect mangoes to grow out of them as they mature.

Rudra's hateful speech to his father when Dilsher tells him to get married reflects and forewarns of the gall that will come raining on Paro in the future. I don't know why Maya ran away , I don't know what to make of Dilsher's pain and agony - but what i do see is a ruined and empty man who was fed poison , and now, he only understands the impact of that poison. The way Rudra sends the message across to his father, you can see that Rudra sees himself as someone incapable of loving a woman - and that is the reason he refuses to get married. When he looks at women, he only remembers his mother and the daily misogynous dose of venom for 15 years. He hates his life because its filled with hatred that came from his own parents.

The worst part is that its not Dilsher or Maya who will bear the brunt of their handiwork on Rudra. All the damage that they have done to Rudra will come crashing down on Paro. Paro, who has done nothing to harm Rudra , will stand in the line of fire and suffer the impact of the opium that Dilsher and Maya have sown.

And when you look at it in expanse, Rudra's parents destroyed him and after 15 years , their commendable work on Rudra , will put Paro into suffering.

Dilsher has no right to think of Rudra's happiness or to think of Paro as "Retirement Roti" (Serial Junkie) because he didn't even once think of all this when he gave a small boy a PhD in Misogyny.

Edit:

Yayy That female Jallad got her comeuppance. She doesn't hesitate to play with a person's feelings, weakness, that too her own nephew. Gosh how does she spew so much venom? Is she not a mother herself? What a coward, that she relishes on other's pain and humiliation. Till now Sr Ranawat stayed away from stooping to her level, but today, he struck her where it hurts most too, Grandchildren, she deserved it!!

PaRud in sync, she has the pump/water ready just as he asks.

Time is the best of healers. Although the lesson came too late in learning for Dilsher, he too had no other way of coping other than to pour bitterness into his son regarding women. Today age, wisdom, experience is shouting to him to protect his only child from that similar fate. It is not simply a reaction to Mohini. He desperately wants his only child to stop suffering and live a happy life.

I understand what you're saying Vicky Sa, but that is humans at the end of the day na?. We are not perfect. Especially at times, when our self- control, intelligence, common sense, and foresight is required we get swayed more with emotions of the situation we are engulfed in. I have done it myself. The pain of the moment outweighs the consequences of our actions later. Dilsher coped with his grief by laying the blame on Maya's door, turning her son against her & the female species.

But for the human in Rudra it is 15 yrs too late. That is almost half a lifetime spent in drowning in poison about his mum and women. Rudra is right, he should have thought then. Now it has become as part of him as breathing is! And yes, their parenting folly will be Paro's suffering. But at the same time he has seen how Paro can retaliate worthy of Rudra. It is selfish of him to expect this young girl to become a salvation to his wounded son. Yet he has seen a difference in the behavior Rudra metes out to Paro too.

His father wanted to strip him of the jaanwar avatar. He remembers the mothers' curse again. And today his loyalty to his motherland is going to be questioned. Aman's support at a time when he's world is falling apart at the seams, goodness always brings in the genuine! His hard work, position all coming into question because a mere slip of a girl refuses to sign.

Short but nice ...👍🏼
But I don't understand Dilsher character...
He gave venom to Rudra about women in last 15 years... and suddenly he is softening towards Paro and wants to see her married to Rudra...he can protect Paro in front of other family member, as he is helping Rudra in his mission in that half 'Janver' house... but asking Rudra to marry Paro... I don't get this...

Well said Vicky sa!
Today was very emotionally draining episode for me.. 😕.
For no mistake of his, Rudra has been mentally tortured for the past 15 yrs.. His father filled soo much darkness in him that there is no hope for light.. Rather he turns his back and goes hiding deep inside, if a glimpse of hope for happiness.. Finds him.

The only thing he finds comfort is in his service to the motherland. Where he feels close to the mother, who left him way back..

I felt it was very apt, that Rudra remembered the mother's curse, just before he went for the hearing..

It is the fear of loosing his "Mother" that is going to make him force Paro into the 4 days to marriage situation.

As you said, for no fault of her, Paro is going to carry the cross ..

Anyways, in all this sadness, one thing that I couldn't fail to notice was, how Rudra and Paro worked together in comforting Dillu..

And ofcourse the Pandit words.. This jodi is made in heaven.. Rudra and Parvati.

Thanks
A sad Radz.

Thank you.😃...Rudra is an exam and am afraid Paro's whole life is going to drain in clearing it - and that too for no fault of hers.

Excellent post as always... After watching the episode it's your post i come looking for and tend to understand the character more better... Yes, you are right the sufferer now will be Paro for no fault of hers and the precap shows how Rudra will take revenge and make Paro sign the documents as his BSD post is now at risk with no evidence... It will be interesting to watch as to whether Rudra will be suspended or marriage is on the cards for sure..
