Wonderfully written as usual!! 😃
My eyes were glued to the screen from the time when the maid dropped the thali on the floor. The majors slow stride into the courtyard. The way his hands were on his hips. Samrat stepping before his mother ever so slightly. Boy has some Ranawat blood in him after all? 😉 .
The way his hands slid off his hips in order to appear like the obedient nephew and yet his sboulders still squared with pride. I couldn't help think " oh no you didn't, kaki masi" for a second there I thought she'd step back and not allow him touch her feet to complete his humiliation.
Loved the "are you listening to this?/so there" look he flashed mohini when he was announced as heir apparent.
It was a joy to watch mythili so happy and also her interaction with sunehri.
The quiet conversation he had with Danveer just about broke my heart. "Meri majboori ko meri saza na banaiye" My heart went out to both of them. Kakas naivity in thinking things could go back to normal. I think as adults, elders sometimes forget that time has passed, the ones who were young and innocent have faced the harshness of the world too and have been changed from that experience. It's the long gap in years between their interactions I suppose that could be blamed. Danveer still sees the little boy who hoped to grow a moustache like his beloved chacha, not the fully grown man who has deep wounds that time has allowed to fester.
I wonder if Rudra and Paro will now go over their cover stories so they get it right when asked next time. 😊
Thank you, Mozart.😊 Delighted it appealed.Originally posted by: mozart66
Brilliant analysis!!!! As usual!!
The episode had not much to offer in terms of excitement of action but as you rightly said, a lot many things were set for future confrontations! I am eager to see Paro's reaction to Rudra's past once she begins to know him.

Fantastic post...
But Paro was unswayed. It was an irony, she pointed out, that the man who'd destroyed every relationship known to her, was now talking about saving her life. At that, he stepped back and turned away. But Paro wouldn't let up. "Do you know why I'm obeying you now?" "Because you have no other option. Because all the other doors are closed," he hammered into her lest she forget. But she turned the tables on him: "That's true not just for me but for you too. You too are worried; you too are scared that I'll run away; that I'll talk. But I won't. I'll remain silent. Because my silence will bring you to your knees. And then..."👏👏
It was like telling him, Majorsa dont loose sleep over me, why worry, we both want the same thing. You dont want me to speak and I won't speak, for its my silence that is your downfall.
This is no gun battle but a spear thrown right at him...where it is so gonna hurt...
