Where did they say the smugglers were from Pakistan? The town is fictional and so would the border town be.

Even if the country of Pakistan is implied, because the state is Rajasthan (else it could also have been Nepal, Bangladesh, etc), all the show is saying is that there are good and bad people in every country

Thakursa is the bad guy this side of the border, along with al his henchmen, and similarly, the people who sell the guns, and bring them across the border, are bad guys that side of the border.

As the protagonist is a border security force person, the villains are those who abuse the border, and that includes not only the people from across the border, but also inside the border.

As you can see, protagonists chief target is people from this side of the border.

So try not to feel too bad, its only a fictional show.

No country has been mentioned.
I'm happy with that.
I don't want RR to become a political issue.
Just enjoying the show.

No hard feelings. The protagonist is against terrorists and smuggler irrespective of nationality. Enjoy the story.

As far as I have seen the serial, I have heard them saying sarhad par. And not Pakistan. Why simply bother with these things in a fiction show? Just enjoy the show.

Yes, it's obvious with Birpur being a Rajastani border town that sarhad par is Pakistan but the cvs were careful not to mention it because the focus of the story is not India-Pakistan but a border town which will provide the backdrop for the Parud story.
The pakistani's were shown to be arms traders but more importantly from the same community as the Indians...essentially they were the same people divided by a border they didn't ask for. If anyone was shown in a really bad light it was the Indian thakur sa because he was shown to be a traitor who bought the smuggled guns and then sold them on to terrorosts within India.
I had no issue with the patriotism shown because if I chose to watch a pakistani drama based on a similar background I would expect and accept the serial to show patriotism towards Pakistan. I find it very hard to believe that no Pakistani work of fiction be it television, film or books has ever shown India or indians in a bad light.
The other thing that surprises me is that you chose to make this topic now when the focus of the show has moved away totally from the arms deal, except as a way to keep Parud together. You waited 5 weeks for someone else to raise the issue and when they didn't you decided to make the topic when the show itself had moved away from that topic.😕
