i'm a pakistani too.

initially i was bothered but its okay until unless they actually say "pakistan" aloud.

its actually quite obvious that its pakistan as rajasthan only shares border with pakistan.

but then again they did not say that the sarhad par is a different country not state

Firstly they never mentioned Pakistan and even if u think that they r referring to Pakistan they never blamed them.. they have shown both the village or country r equally involved in the crime & how they r cheating the government ... Its depends on how u see it & take it ..

to be clear they did not mention pakistan anywhere in the show ,,,,

but only they were telling the border, of the village and country,,,,,and we assume it is pakistan,,,it may be pakistan or afganistan or iran or iraq any thing might be,,

we r east bohered to bring big countries and the rivalry amidst of the love story of parud,,,

so please leave that part and enjoy the show buddy,,,,

Dear...they never mentioned Pakistan in the show or any country...you should watch the show again and see they never once mentioned the name off the country 😊
They always said border k uss paar... 😛

Being neither Indian nor Pakistani can i just as a question. In reality how many hindu villages r there in Pakistan?

And how many hindus living on this side is marrying off their daughters to those on the other side?

This question is asked cz i already got an answer to this as i was curious and asked some questions a long time back from some friends from both India and Pakistan. And the answer i got a big no. And that this was fiction only n doesn't happen in real.

So now may I ask why u need to drag a country to this utterly fictional situation? And that too ages after that issues has been put aside?

Another newbie too..food for thought..😕

Let's not create controversy where none exists! This is a fictional story and no names of countries are taken. If what you say is taken seriously people from Rajasthan staying near the border should also be offended with the way they have been portrayed! An entire village is fooled by the Thakur and they even refuse to accept their own daughter believing his words!

When all in India can accept that this is creative license and total fiction I suggest you do too!

From this it appears that this particular Pak serial 'Dastaan' portrayed Indians in a far poorer light than the imagined hurt caused to Pakistanis by this serial.
