Just noticed this post.
My reply is no insult to the person who posted this topic or all the good pakistanis who genuinely do not care for blood shed and bad blood.
For the pothers its a succint message. ...GET OVER IT.
So what if they insinuate or mention Pakistan by name. If there has been a problem in he past and the CVs want to use that as a backdrop to create awareness more power to them. 👏 I do not see why we have to pussyfoot over the issue. There are enough villains on both sides of the border . this is even shown in the serial.
I am a proud Indian who has lost family in the kargil war. Hence I feel we are insulting the memory of the soldiers sacrifice by pretending all is hunky dory. Its not and lets accept it. no country accepts porous borders and India is also justified in protecting its borders. if this is shown in the serials and other entertainment so be it.
I dont see anyone protesting when you see american movies and serials do the same to so many other countries like Mexico, China, Russia , Iran( .. to name a few)

Again I apologise if you feel bad but this remains a fact.

is it really necessary to dig out everything?, its just a fiction right?
why giving too much importance,
the show only used the word " sarhad", its just a fiction not reality,
so we cant say which country is across the border
and secondly , Indians are shown more worse than others, tejawat is the main villain who smuggle guns and sell girls to the other side, and he is an Indain, so its like we are more bad right?
and thirdly, have you noticed the dress those people wear in the show, i mean pakis dont wear those kinds of dresses , i dont know about others, well i havent seen.🤔, and they are 'hindus', , i dont know hindus live in pakistan or not, well i havent heard anything like that, 🤔
so the CVs are trying to proove that its not "pakistan"
and i cant beleive what you said about pak medias not showing bad about India, for me, both country's medias show bad about each other, so no complains
and one more thing, this story was scripted to be in one of the border of India, the fact that the script is about the love between a BSF officer and a common girl living in that surrounding area, if CVs choose anyother place also , there will be border thing in that place,
be it nepal or bengladesh or srilanka
if they really wanted to show pak as bad , then they could have used kashmir better than rajasthan , cause there problems are more, so it shows that its not CVs fault, its just a fiction
dont take everything too seriously

Thanks for this post...Pakistan DOES share the border of Rajastan with India, so it was a direct insult to Pakistan...meanwhile none of the Pakistani shows ever do this...they even showed all positive stuff in a famous Pakistani show...Meri Adhoori Mohobat...it was about 2 lovers who were divided by the border...

There are lots of Hindus in Pakistan, esp around the border areas.

I as a Pakistani would always promote peace and harmony and your reply will instigate hatred among people of both countries so please refrain from expressing such venomous sentiments on a public forum..If you have lost ur family in kargil war i am sure lots of Pakis would have lost their families too so it's a two way thing
This is RR forum and we should keep our conversations friendly and should avoid bringing such topics

I'm a Pakistani and initially I felt the same but later on on I realised that it was a back drop to base their story on so I also moved on:)...
Secondly I'm all for peace and harmony amongst the people of both the countries coz I feel humanity is above everything... Our media (Indian as well Pakistani) play the nationalistic card to sell their products ... It's all about money , it's all about commercialism... And the same goes for the people at the helm of affairs be they politicians or generals... How many of them have died serving their country ?! It's only the lower cadre who sacrifice their lives for the ulterior motives of their superiors...
I love my country but emotions should not cloud our judgement!!!!

Having said it all... Let's enjoy the show for what's it's for... Entertainment!!:))

PS ... I wish we had more friendly relationship at the state level... So that I could visit india to meet my barunie baby! Hehehe

Cheers and peace to all😊

While i do appreciate your peaceful and friendly overture... I do not understand what part of my post was 'venomous' . It not instigating anything but merely stating facts and asking others to get over it too.
But i agree with you ... this forum is no the place for this discussion and RR is much more fun to talk about.

They showed the Thakur and co equally if not more involved in the smuggling than the people from the country across the border. Ultimately, the story is more about Paro and Rudra, and about Thakur and BSD than about two countries.

Have you ever been to Wagha Border? If yes, have you witnessed the things people on both sides of the border do when the parade hasn't begun? Also, do pardon me if I sound rude, I don't mean to. But know this. My ignorant, absolutely worthless younger brother thinks Muslim and Pakistani can be interchangeably used. One of my best friends is stereotypical towards both Muslims and Pakistanis. The shameful point I am trying to make is, most Indians are hardwired to behave like this. They are also likely to not take this aspect of the show seriously. For, they make use of this prejudice in almost all walks of life. Hindu-Muslim, Indo-Pak - if these concepts are taken up as a backdrop in entertainment, I really don't think Indians, for one, take it seriously. They're so used to it, see?

Of course it can be hurtful, I am sorry you feel that way. But I don't think the makers put in as many thoughts as we put both thought and sentiment into this.
