I admit this change in tactics appears to be pretty sudden, even random...but I am ready to give them benefit of the doubt...it probably was his plan all along, to fake her death and wait for that news to reach the key people. Ahh, that makes sense ... I was scratching my head over that too ... So once he faked her death, he needed a safe house to take her to ... now that the thakur is relaxed that he has no witnesses, Rudra can allow her to go back and catch maamisa off guard ... she will be so happy to see Paro alive that she will forget that she's not supposed to know her, and will betray herself.

And Rudra is keeping watch on her all through ... so he will bring her back after that to keep her safe again ... once Thakur knows she is still alive, he might attack her again.

Still very convoluted ... but acceptable. 😛
