Yes, Laila can identify Paro as the bride but apart from Rudra, no one else would consider her word. Plus, Laila doesn't know whether Paro is aware of the smuggling or not...

Laila can recognise Paro but maybe she will not because her role is to be a 'khabri' (if we can go go by what this character was supposed to be before the show started); Rudra may want to use her as his trump card so she can bring evidence against Tejawat, and for that she cannot go against Tejawat.

yeah...surely laila can help paro get out(maybe 4 the first and last tym)..but i am not sure i wud like that..paro is much safer in rudra's custody...let laila be missing from the scene for a few more days..m toh enjoying it🤣

Besides Rudra already knows Parvati is from Birpur, about her Mami sa bringing up Parvati as her own etc. ...the issue is not about Parvati's identity, it is about the arms smuggling and a witness. Bindi was a witness...killed...at least for now. Proving that she is from Birpur means nothing for the case.
Parvati is not a witness, she hasn't seen or know anything. She cannot sign the document because that would be a lie. I think she will start to think more about what Rudra said to the village people about the annual weddings and the "never heard from" girls.

It's not really about a public testimony from Laila that my post was about. No one knows who she is, and like previously stated, who else would her consider her account worthy? I was aiming for more that someone can actually (and would be willing) to confirm that Paro is the dulhan.

Yup he knows that she's related to Mami Sa but it's also different to have someone else also confirm that he's right. Rudra knows she's from Birpur, but also considers her to be knowledgable about the smuggling. Someone like Laila could help start pointing out to him that she's wayyy too bholi bhaali for the sort of thing he's asking her of.

Like undercover? Because if she was, I doubt she'd be sneaking around the BSD quarters. Maybe she's skilled in how to fight, unlike Paro, but I dunno if she's also one of them.
