Laila can of course recognize Paro, but her testimony wouldn't matter much. The whole point of Rudra taking Paro to Birpur was that he was hoping to give her an incentive of returning to her home if she signs those papers. Being recognized by Laila won't provide an incentive for her to sign the papers.

However, kudos to your observation power for coming up with this. Laila ka toh kisi ko khayal hi nahi aya.

And I was thinking about Laila also. Rudra knows that Laila saw the bride. SO she can vouch for Paro being the bride. But that's all she can say - that Paro is the bride. Nothing about guns. And Paro herself doesn't know anything about guns, except the fact that the groom's side fired first.

Again, just like Laila I doubt Kesari can be used as 'official' witness. But could privately confirm that 'yeah that's her'. THakur can use the same play there too...that he has no idea who this guy is.

Like undercover? Because if she was, I doubt she'd be sneaking around the BSD quarters. Maybe she's skilled in how to fight, unlike Paro, but I dunno if she's also one of them.
