Everything is lost.

When you have no one to live for, what keeps you going? When you're completely alone, how do you get up to face the sun ? What if your nightmare never ends, even when you will yourself awake every second of everyday?

You breathe. Because that's all you can do. You cry till your throat is sore and there are no more tears. You blink and you breathe.

And when night falls, you can awake from the nightmare and walk into the arms of everyone you love. You can smile, only fleetingly, with your eyes closed.

But the sun will come out again.

And the nightmares will haunt you. Everyday of forever.

Very well said...Paro was trying to protect herself by thinking that it was all just a bad dream...and the dream would end..and her parents..her doll...and mamiji would be with her...

But she'll have to face the reality soon enough...because this is a never ending nightmare 😒

If you can get through the storm, you will live to see its tale of destruction and deal with the aftermath.

Nothing else to do but just deal with it.

Beautifully said. My heart cried with her today. Tomorrow as if it is even possible, she will be more broken when her mami acts as she doesn't know her. God! She will be devastated.

I don't think this darkness that has cascaded into Paro's life is going anywhere at the moment. Though what will be interesting to see is how she weathers this storm. She's been shown to be timid and reserved, what will make her is her mettle to cope with the recent events. Perhaps, now the fire that has always surrounded her nightmares be propelled in another direction.

Her nightmare forced her to awaken..her constant denial succumbed in front of her like a living reality..her tears and heart fails her in so many horrors and hereafter the only path for her is suffering..until and when life gives her a purpose once again re-live her dreams
