But did u check out any of the posts that read Varun differently? that he was not a terrorist but a coward who just wanted to get away?

This is the only explanation i myself can accept actually. But yes CV's messed up by keeping his expressions confusing.. It could go either way i feel.😕

Havent been ablle to read anyother post, so no idea

will try and read if time permits once I done replying here

See 1. when fighting was happening he ONLY cared for Paro. He didn't even look at his family.

But he did mention that Paro was his safety net whom he kept alive because he thought Rudra would let him go at the cost of keeping Paro alive
The smirk he gave clearly meant he wasnt an innocent party neither just a coward
he knew abt the gun hidden below the covering of the thing Paro and he were travelling in

2. When checking was done, he had no idea there was money. he just asked them to go ahead n check
3. His uncle didn't even look at his side when ordering the others to attack. he was lost n shocked during the attack

I believe that was a blooper on the part of CVs just to make us believe that Varun is innocent
4. He didn't even look at the bag of money n only wanted to take his wife to the other side.

Same expalnation as point 1.
besides money at that point was not as imporatant as his life

BUT he was a coward...he cared for her above EVERY1 else. BUT not above himself.

He liked her, not loved.. n but he was not at all aware of hte terrorist thing. cz he was educated, had a job n was living away from the family. but he was as normal scared guy.. when it came to it, he picked his life.

he wasnt shocked seeing the baraat people beat Rudra and talk abt getting a baraat every year to destroy with the help of thakur
Also he removed the hidden gun
So I think he knew abt their activities

cz what awaited him/them in this side of the border was jail, torture or death and he wanted to escape it

he is not a hero at all.. but he is not a complete terrorist either..

Whether Varun was good or bad, there is no one to prove it to Paro who just believes that he was the best thing to happen to her...so the ocean Rudra and Paro have to cross remains the same and doesnt change a bit...Even if Rudra says that Varun was using her...why will Paro believe him...thats the irony that even truth cannot unite them...and there is no other witness except the Indian Flag to Varun's treachery...

I had initially thought that Varun gets killed by Rudra by accident...

The ocean remains the same, the impact also remains the same for Paro but the impact and the outcome changes for me
Paro wont believe him now, but somehow (maybe through Thakur) she will learn the truth and things will clear up
this is different from Paro learning to forgive him despite rudra being guilty of killing an innocent which is what I believe was promised seeing the shot of a shocked Varun admist the mayhem

i agree wid what u said. yes CV's took the easy way out . but i m trying to cut CV's some slack here...after all its a soap! also i m trying to convience myself that it was for the good!😆

best part is that they have killed Varun for sure. i d have hated it if he came back after sometime wid all his evil glory!😆

I am not suprised to see Varun being shown as negative

Seen enough TV shows to be taken aback by a cliched twist

But I can see where you are coming from. But would any woman fall in love with a man who killed her innocent husband?

Wouldnt that be interesting to know
Would she fall for him and how
despite him having killed her husband because Rudra thought he was guilty by association

As it is I find it difficult to understand why Paro would ever love a man who killed her husband no matter what the reasons are.
Isnt that the question that keeps us intrigued enough to tune in and see how they pull it off and whether we are convinced or not
Does Paro fall in love with Rudra before she is made aware of the truth of Varun being a baddie and if yes, then HOW?

P.s- I like your posts.
Thank You 😊

I will get over the disappointement eventually
One often has to when it comes to Hindi soaps 😆
Its just that LaiRu had my hopes soaring for a bit and I thought the CVs would dare to push the limits
Looks like I will never learn my lesson 😆

I too wanted varun to be totally innocent but looking at so many ppl having already pointed out that he was too good to be true ...well I guess , I was wrong 😕

And wheather varun was innocent or not , it is a BIG deal that a bride saw her groom shot dead infront of her own eyes. Nothing can change that ...the kind of social milieu paro belongs too ...beleive me it is a big deal.
Agreed

@NS

now that they have made banna sa the bad guy n dead i want two things frm RR...

1. Paro kills Thakur wid those guns...yes i want Paro to be the only one to kill Thakur😆

2. Paro falling in love wid Rudra before clearing the MU which ll most probably b done by thakur. i think that story ll b more interesting. Rudra ll feel guilty, Paro ll b sry but i want love before clarification of MU!

does that sound weird!😆

Varun is a bad guy. it was sooo predictable. my experience wid hindi soaps told me that Varun has to b the bad guy but still i chose to believe that he could b a good guy because i wanted to watch the story u have mentioned in ur post. i was really disappointed whn they showed Varun as a bad guy.

but whn i thought wid a calm mind, i realized though RR has pushed few boundaries of hindi soaps, it has its own limits. At the end of the day, its a hindi soap, they cant show a girl falling in love wid her innocent husband's killer. we may except it but majority of the audience wont. its all abt TRP.

But it has been shown and accepted too
there are a couple of shows more, but RBO comes to my mind off handedly

also as showviewer n Guinea said, it wont look good if they showed an army man who happens to b the lead of the show killing an innocent man even by mistake.
innocent do die in the blood bath between armed forces and terrorist
So I dont think itt would be that big an issue

i agree wid NB too, no girl in her right sense ll ever love a man who killed her innocent husband no matter what the reasons are.

its going to be a long time before Paro comes to know the truth and i am pretty sure Parud are going to fall for each other in the show before the MU clears up
Paro might be shown guilty for harboring feelings for Rudra, a man who killled her innocent husband (acc to her) but she will love him nonetheless
that is the whole premise of the show I think, falling for the forbidden
So Varun being a baddie or innocent doesnt make a diff in that case as far as Paro falling for Rudra is concerned
Him being a baddie just makes it easier to ease off her guilt

what the CV's could have done was, show Varun being killed by other gang members n make Paro believe that Rudra killed him. in this way Varun d have been the good guy n Paro d hate Rudra. but then there wouldnt have been anybody alive to prove Rudra's innocence!
As u said, now that Varun is the bad guy, some day or other Thakur ll tell that to Paro😆

RR is different in a way, in most soaps heroine has to prove her innocence. here hero has to prove his innocence! may b Rudra wont care to prove it now, but he ll defo care to prove someday😉

ps.I love ur username.
Thank you
pps.I love ur DP.
I like it too 😆
ppps.I love ur posts!😆

Ofcourse from Paro's POV Rudra would be a demon set on destroying her life and this is what would have made it interesting to watch..

I agree with the thread maker...I think the CVs took the easy way out

Interesting counter views Shiataan ji.

I wont call varun being a bad guy a cliched twist. Thats life if you ask me. How many times have we come across sugary sweet guys only for them to be found out eventually?
