Its not the easy way out right now...it would be if Rudra just tells Paro in far away future that "your husband was the hired side kick to our lurve istory and oh! yes he also had a gun on your head when i made a hole out of him" and Paro gos all starry eyes with a mind song *tu mera hero* picturing Rudra.

its the easy way out acc to me by making Varun negative/wrong because it makes the whole thing a big MU from Paro's part instead of it being the truth
Paro isnt going to believe Rudra but Rudra isnt wrong in what he did. So they are going to show him as the wronged party which is kind of against what they have claimed in terms of pushing the wall. If I am not mistaken there were supposed to be shots of innocent husband being caught unaware

Thanks for the replies everyone.

I had expected Varun to be a bad guy. Age and experience have taught me that when something seems too perfect and too good, it's likely to be anything but that.

But I can see where you are coming from. But would any woman fall in love with a man who killed her innocent husband?

As it is I find it difficult to understand why Paro would ever love a man who killed her husband no matter what the reasons are.

P.s- I like your posts.

I am cutting the CV's some slack here ...they have pushed quite a few indian tv soap frontiers already ...showing an army officer even accidently killing an innocent would have been too much for the trp audience 😊
I too wanted varun to be totally innocent but looking at so many ppl having already pointed out that he was too good to be true ...well I guess , I was wrong 😕

And wheather varun was innocent or not , it is a BIG deal that a bride saw her groom shot dead infront of her own eyes. Nothing can change that ...the kind of social milieu paro belongs too ...beleive me it is a big deal.

Varun is a bad guy. it was sooo predictable. my experience wid hindi soaps told me that Varun has to b the bad guy but still i chose to believe that he could b a good guy because i wanted to watch the story u have mentioned in ur post. i was really disappointed whn they showed Varun as a bad guy.

but whn i thought wid a calm mind, i realized though RR has pushed few boundaries of hindi soaps, it has its own limits. At the end of the day, its a hindi soap, they cant show a girl falling in love wid her innocent husband's killer. we may except it but majority of the audience wont. its all abt TRP.

also as showviewer n Guinea said, it wont look good if they showed an army man who happens to b the lead of the show killing an innocent man even by mistake.

i agree wid NB too, no girl in her right sense ll ever love a man who killed her innocent husband no matter what the reasons are.

what the CV's could have done was, show Varun being killed by other gang members n make Paro believe that Rudra killed him. in this way Varun d have been the good guy n Paro d hate Rudra. but then there wouldnt have been anybody alive to prove Rudra's innocence!
As u said, now that Varun is the bad guy, some day or other Thakur ll tell that to Paro😆

RR is different in a way, in most soaps heroine has to prove her innocence. here hero has to prove his innocence! may b Rudra wont care to prove it now, but he ll defo care to prove someday😉

ps.I love ur username.
pps.I love ur DP.
ppps.I love ur posts!😆

I agree with ur dissapointment..but this is part of the storyline,,,ever since d promos released ...we knew d husband was gonna die...n from d cloth cutting scene of varun..i knew he's a grey character or a coward
..its my POV ...no offense.
Note- pls comment and like ashish sharma and sanaya irani profiles...comment more and like for ashish...he's lagging😊

For me it's not even about whether Varun was black, white or as I suspect grey it's about the audience's empathy with Paro when she cries for Varun. We know her grief is real but the empathy we would would have felt if Varun had been good has been reduced because we know Varun was not worthy of her trust and her tears. I know Sanaya will make me cry buckets but still the fact that Paro is crying for a not so good guy does lessen the impact of the scene.I know her trials haven't even begun yet and we'll have lots of scenes where our hearts will break for Paro in the future so I'm really only talking about that particular scene.
I understand that a Border Security officer can't be shown killing an innocent person but if it was an an accidental death, say perhaps Varun was caught in the cross fire but the bullet was from Rudra's gun the impact would have been the same for Paro and the audience watching Paro's innocent husband being killed. I don't think Paro would excuse it as an accident because as far as she knows the BSD is evil and shoot people without reason, like they did her parents. Rudra's position would not change because it would still be a death in the line of duty.
The one thing I'm glad about though is that Varun is dead - I didn't want the chance of him coming back when Paro and Rudra fell in love.
I'm not sure if showing a grey/black Varun is a total cop out but I was disappointed that the cvs took this route. Overall though as long as Paro believes Varun was good the story doesn't lose it's edge because it will be her dilemma in relating the Rudra that she'll get to know to the monster who killed her innocent husband and now I hope Rudra will earn her love, respect and trust before Varun's truth comes out.

Varun being turned into a baddie didnt surprise me
This is a hindi show and it can always be expected to see such twists. The writers are pretty unimaginative that way 😆

See if everything is viewed logically, then a lot of BSD and Rudra's decsions are become questionable
I am not saying that its illogical to show Varun as a baddie, but disappointing after the Parun scenes and the claims. Its a cliched twist, if I can call it one

I think this could have been done without a MU too
With Varun not being turned into a baddie
The impact for Paro would have been the same and for the viewers (or atleast me) more than it is now

But seriously, the girl having a MU is a new concept - specially my all-time fav show was all about the guy's MU and associated drama. So I'm enjoying it. Waiting to see how they progress in the love story.

If u r talking abt the ever so famous Rabba Ve's, then I got to say I know

Glad u r enjoying RR now 😊

The second he went from let me cross with my "WIFE" to this "GIRL" is my ticket to the other side, there was no doubt ... he was bad. I thought he was bad when I saw him rip the cloth with the sword on his arrival and the way he stood...like a trained fighter..
Rudra's response to "there will be one more body"...bang ...bye bye creep. 😃

Parvati witnessing the "bang", Rudra holding the smoking gun and Vermin Varun dropping dead, the shriek...a worthy MU...witnessed first hand by the two of them and nobody else.

He isnt innocent, I get that completely. No dubts there for any if or but
The problem for me is that he isnt shown innocent

As for the MU: I dont think anyone is going to blame Pari for not believing Rudra
she has no reason to believe him as of now
Just that it could have been handled without a MU too

However, while most of us are concentrating on Paro's MU, what about Rudra's MU regarding Paro? Going by the latest promo, Paro will be put through public humiliation and severe interrogation by Rudra, her pleading and tears will fall on deaf ears, isn't that a reason enough to feel sympathetic towards innocent Paro, her dreams shattered, subjected to humiliation and maybe even social stigma for being a widow in such a feudalistic, rural set up. She is paying the heaviest price among everyone there and only for trusting her so called well-wishers and daring to hope her simple dreams will come true.

I dont quite agree with you...In the melee that followed innocents are bound to get hurt...Remember that the entire marriage party excluding just Paro and varun are terrorists and in the course of duty Rudra would kill Varun and not with any personal vendetta...Varun's only mistake would be of being in the wrong place at the wrong time...
Ofcourse from Paro's POV Rudra would be a demon set on destroying her life and this is what would have made it interesting to watch..

I agree with the thread maker...I think the CVs took the easy way out
