I finished both the episodes of the week and ai would be lying if I said that I wasnt disappointed
It might not be popular opinion here but show Varun as a part of wrong doings was a cop out from the CVs IMO

When they clearly showed Rudra being physically involved with Laila, I was like wow, the CVs have guts to show what most shy but then the very next week they show Varun as bad and according to me, its them taking the easy way out for Parud story.

From daring to show Rudra guilty of wrongfully killing Parvati's innocent husband and showing how Paro manages to fall for him and learns to forgive him of this crime (and Rudra too learns to forgive himself) to converting it into just a misunderstanding on Paro's part (and painting Rudra as a wronged hero) a huge ass one at that but a misunderstanding none the less. The truth once revealed (probably via Thakur Tejawat who must be in know) will instantaneously clear everything from Paros side who will then only be guilty of misjudging Rudra and BSD.
It reduces the impact for me of Paro's hurt and Parud story for me. I know that Paro doesnt know the truth abt Paro yet but I do and that kind of reduces how bad i feel for her. Its more like Varun was bad and he was killed. So its good for Paro no matter how bad she feels right now

For all the claims of it being a differently executed dark love story, they succumbed to the cliche with respect to the love story and took the easy way out

Know what you are saying but as the argument given by some here, showing an army soldier killing an innocent would lead to controversies and criticism, and I guess the CVs did not want to push certain boundaries when it comes to presenting their hero.

However, while most of us are concentrating on Paro's MU, what about Rudra's MU regarding Paro? Going by the latest promo, Paro will be put through public humiliation and severe interrogation by Rudra, her pleading and tears will fall on deaf ears, isn't that a reason enough to feel sympathetic towards innocent Paro, her dreams shattered, subjected to humiliation and maybe even social stigma for being a widow in such a feudalistic, rural set up. She is paying the heaviest price among everyone there and only for trusting her so called well-wishers and daring to hope her simple dreams will come true.

Agree with you. ..but Rudra or bsd is not responsible for Paro's miseries. ..poor girl becomes the victims of thakursa. ..you are again right her socalled well wishers...paro is completely innocent. .but she was caught by rudra when she was in company of smugglers.you are right to the extent that poor paro is being hummiliated without any fault..but Rudra or bsd are supposed to interrogate such people after all it is a very sensitive issue and nobody is above our country. ..but really sad about paro..poor girl doesn't know anything. ..hope rudra soon realise that.

I know what NalayalSh... means here but .. how can be be convinced that entire barat was bad men.. and Varun was a good guy... not possible.. so that way it seemed logical to me.. but somehow it took me by surprise..
But Paro still thinks that Varun was innocent.

Soaps totally run on MUs. So it was kinda necessary.

But seriously, the girl having a MU is a new concept - specially my all-time fav show was all about the guy's MU and associated drama. So I'm enjoying it. Waiting to see how they progress in the love story.

Bold- Exactly that is why it is a misunderstanding from Rudra's side, he assumes she is a traitor as she was found in the company of smugglers, just as Paro misunderstands Rudra as murderer of her "innocent" husband, she has not seen Varun's negative side. Both are victims of their circumstances. Neither can be blamed, yet both will suffer due their misinterpretation of the situation.
So, if Paro hates Rudra for her misery, she does not know any better, just like Rudra is compelled to humiliate her thinking she is a traitor.

If Varun was innocent why use Parvati as hostage to get across the border...stay back and prove it...be a witness. The second he went from let me cross with my "WIFE" to this "GIRL" is my ticket to the other side, there was no doubt ... he was bad. I thought he was bad when I saw him rip the cloth with the sword on his arrival and the way he stood...like a trained fighter..
Rudra's response to "there will be one more body"...bang ...bye bye creep. 😃

Parvati witnessing the "bang", Rudra holding the smoking gun and Vermin Varun dropping dead, the shriek...a worthy MU...witnessed first hand by the two of them and nobody else.

I agree!. here is another hugely disappointed viewer :(
But did u check out any of the posts that read Varun differently? that he was not a terrorist but a coward who just wanted to get away?

This is the only explanation i myself can accept actually. But yes CV's messed up by keeping his expressions confusing.. It could go either way i feel.😕

See 1. when fighting was happening he ONLY cared for Paro. He didn't even look at his family.
2. When checking was done, he had no idea there was money. he just asked them to go ahead n check
3. His uncle didn't even look at his side when ordering the others to attack. he was lost n shocked during the attack
4. He didn't even look at the bag of money n only wanted to take his wife to the other side.

BUT he was a coward...he cared for her above EVERY1 else. BUT not above himself.

He liked her, not loved.. n but he was not at all aware of hte terrorist thing. cz he was educated, had a job n was living away from the family. but he was as normal scared guy.. when it came to it, he picked his life.

cz what awaited him/them in this side of the border was jail, torture or death and he wanted to escape it

he is not a hero at all.. but he is not a complete terrorist either..

my 2 cents...
Whether Varun was good or bad, there is no one to prove it to Paro who just believes that he was the best thing to happen to her...so the ocean Rudra and Paro have to cross remains the same and doesnt change a bit...Even if Rudra says that Varun was using her...why will Paro believe him...thats the irony that even truth cannot unite them...and there is no other witness except the Indian Flag to Varun's treachery...

I had initially thought that Varun gets killed by Rudra by accident...

He was the husband, if Rudra had not relented and also not fired, its not sure that he would have shot Paro even if he was the baddie all along.

Its not the easy way out right now...it would be if Rudra just tells Paro in far away future that "your husband was the hired side kick to our lurve istory and oh! yes he also had a gun on your head when i made a hole out of him" and Paro gos all starry eyes with a mind song *tu mera hero* picturing Rudra.
