The way forward for Paro

It is a heart wrenching phase for Paro
Assuming her husband is dead,
Paro will be a widow and all the strict norms of widowhood will apply to her
As is the case, even if she falls for Rudra later,
how are they going to show it being accepted by the society which is rigid being of a very small village?

And assuming he is not dead, Paro is committed to a relationship.
So how are they going to show her falling for Rudra,
without raising the hackles of the society?

Both ways I am wondering how they will take this forward convincingly, without making Paro an outcast in her society.

What is the way forward?

I agree with you.

There are strict rules for a widow in some towns of India. For wearing white to maybe the sati pratha (burn with her husband's dead body?). Her relationship with Rudra is bound to gain opposing threats, mainly from the society. But we can just hope that the CVs do justice to the track. They are standing on a thin line right now.

Unfortunately being a victim, the women is the person who is blamed. In this case Varun either dead or alive, she will suffer but will be blamed. Paro an innocent soul doesn't deserve those.
If Varun is dead also whatever action she takes will lead her problem, if he is alive also the same.
May be Rudra will be there helping her, directly or indirectly.
Let's see how they are going to show, as they broke several barriers in TV soap they might show something revolutionary.
Hope they reduce showing so much violence on daily basis. Even though they shoot those scenes good too much violence firing, blowing vehicles on fire, killing innocents, throwing living human being in hungry crocodile pond...

Nice post Rima Di. :)
As I am a little bit know of the Rajasthani rituals.. They are too much cruel to even see.
A widow is bound to perform the rituals in front of whole village.
Rituals are like wearing plain ghagras, living a colorless life, ban to attend any functions etc... One is to cut hairs, means to go bald.. Well I don't think they will show the last one coz I had never seen this on TV.
Lets see what is stored for us...
