@Bold: Strike a chord and have a character that you are emotionally connected enough that you want to root for.

You know what...exactly,that's what princess sunara's post said...most of the girls/ladies while watching that scene couldn't help but remember recent events specially Indian capital victim...
That event has left scars on Indian psyche ... It has affected soul of INDIA as the nation...
So yup for me that was the point, moment when I forgot all about khushi/gunjan/sanaya ...it was about a helpless girl stuck in with those cowards in a place where no body could have heard cries for help...My tears started rolling & I thought poor paro...
I think from then I don't see KKG/SI in paro...she is just paro now...
Yup...I started rooting for her...I hope she emerges as a strong woman ...because sweet, naive, innocent paro won't survive in this world...
She has to grow up & grow up quickly...that's her only choice.
You have the nack of writing...you are really good at this.

About Rudra...surely that is believable...he hates/mistrusts beautiful women, but also has needs of the "gabroo jawan" that he is😃...so uses this beautiful, willing woman to slake those needs. Quite a believable arrangement, I would think.
And Varun appears to be genuine...at least I hope they keep him genuine and it doesn't turn out that he was involved in the conspiracy too.

I hear you, Vistaa. Been there. 😊 The fact that the show did not last long enough did help, though. Looking back, can't help but mentally kick myself for being so emotionally invested in a show.

If Varun is indeed genuine, that would be interesting . It would question Rudra' belief about beautiful women. Let's see how they proceed with this.

Hola Bohemian. Quite a few of us are hoping he is genuine and he be first guy who caused dhak-dhak for Paro, a man with whom she imagined a future with. How the CV's shape her character after the interrogation is the major draw for me and one I am looking forward to. Having Varun be a bad guy just to facilitate the Paro-Rudr love story would be so blah and I really hope that is not the case!!

Howdy Bohemian, Savs, agree with all that you said.
Should we start a petition for this? 😉😆 Gather the signatures and picket GH-Janaki? 😆
All jokes aside, this is well and truly the only way this story will work for me. Paro is unfortunate enough to have lost her parents in the most brutal way imaginable, to have grown up under the malevolent and deceptive auspices of Thakur Tejawat. Now if they turn Varun villainish, then she will become a caricature...an object to be pitied, not empathized with. To keep the story interesting, there has to be a balance...
Just finished watching Friday's epi and as expected, Paro's scenes were heartbreaking. 💔
One question...what happened to after the early week epi that ended with Paro looking out of the window and seeing Rudra on his mobike? Did I miss something...did he come knocking on her door?

Visi, where is the sign up sheet?😉

On the window jhalak, not sure what happened to it. I caught it online and there was no reference to it the next day or after. Loved the last shot on Friday -
Paro bids "bidaai" to life as she knows, last semblance of normalcy as Rudra enters the frame.⭐️

Thanks FLS.😃
@Bold: That's just it...there is something deeply divine about such scenes because they afford the audience an opportunity to see the character stripped of all pretenses, the real deal. They are not putting up a front, a brave face...they are talking to their maker, and telling the absolute truth.
