Howdy Bohemian, Savs, agree with all that you said.
Should we start a petition for this? 😉😆 Gather the signatures and picket GH-Janaki? 😆
All jokes aside, this is well and truly the only way this story will work for me. Paro is unfortunate enough to have lost her parents in the most brutal way imaginable, to have grown up under the malevolent and deceptive auspices of Thakur Tejawat. Now if they turn Varun villainish, then she will become a caricature...an object to be pitied, not empathized with. To keep the story interesting, there has to be a balance...
Just finished watching Friday's epi and as expected, Paro's scenes were heartbreaking. 💔
One question...what happened to after the early week epi that ended with Paro looking out of the window and seeing Rudra on his mobike? Did I miss something...did he come knocking on her door?

Hey Vistaa, Savvy

I was doubtful about Varun's character earlier. A bit too perfect, right down to the imli thing. On second thoughts, he may indeed be genuine. More scope for the story.

Looking forward to the growth of Paro's character post the interrogation as well, and how she finally comes to her own...she has been living a sheltered life. It seems like they would move to Rudra's home and family next. Wondering how Paro would agree to go with a man who killed her husband, is responsible for Bindi's abduction & death (according to the Thakur) and is a BSD officer. Why can't she go back to her mami, or they are going to kill off as well.

I hear you loud and clear.😃 The words on Friday, his efforts consoling a distraught Paro makes one think that he may be a sacrificial lamb caught unawares of his uncle's nefarious plans.

What happens after the interrogation is the key, till then we have to wait as the story unravels as known.

I remember reading Swati's post on the symbolism of him brought in blindfold. Plus, all of this is a means to lay down the stark contrast between him and Rudra.
