and i would like to add...that the violence you see and object to is the violence inside of rudra, which has been festering and brewing for years. it comes out whenever it can, and is part of his psyche and his self. perhaps that is why he has joined a para-military force, and chosen a profession with a possibiity of physical violence which is an outlet for his violent inner turmoil. More importantly, Rang Rasiya is exactly about that...a journey from a violent , inner turmoil to a peace and acceptance that only love can bring. it is about the healing and comeing-to -terms of two people who are scarred by their pasts and and their journey towards their inner and mutual salvation.

Ok i don't understand what people want !
If it's a normal love hate stories with just verbal spats between the guy and the girl and then some fake looking action sequences...then people say , 'what's new in the show , its like every other serial' !
Yup that's what we see on TV generally.

And now that they are showing something...that seriously has never been shown on Indian television before..
Yup its more like a movie...be it the action sequences or the drama.

But no matter what they do , people will always relate it to something else and then won't leave an opportunity to criticize it.
Never Satisfied !

And seriously I don't find it OTT at all !

The makers have the creative license to do whatever they please with the show. If they are financially competent enough to input scenes like these and has the resources to pull it off well, what is wrong in using them? The purpose is to create a larger than life hero with a dash of b-wood heroism and audience digs it! So why not?! The show exists to sell itself and by the 'filmyness' it's serving the purpose!

I think the action sequences were well executed...and some times the action sequences are shot in a hurry on tv and they look really funny..
But a lot of effort seems to have gone into this show...and Ashish has done an excellent job...it looks very real and believable 😊

The action scenes are comically over-the-top, beholding them feels like watching a weekend telecast of Akki/Sallu/Sunny Deol movies. Please, this is a daily soap, not a TV remake of Dabangg. And can they PLEASE get rid of the "hero-saving-heroine" stuff? It was simply horrible to watch...a marriage of cliched-scenes and Rajni-action-movies made in hell. Slow-motion punches? Cars blowing up? Hero beating up five villains? Bah.

Please, please for goodness' sake, eliminate this stuff. They are jarring to say the least, especially when contrasted with the otherwise authentic and earthy feel of the show in general.

Thank you.

well you said it right and i am glad many members like you have had the courage to post their opinions.

The producer of the show has definitely tried to make this OTT to grab more eyeballs and garner trp's in the initial episodes.

the true test will be it's durability and that will only happen if the content is strong.
