Yet, to see the episode on TV but the grandeure can be seen even online. They have utilized their time in Rajasthan well to give us these first couple of weeks of spectacularly shot episodes. Soon we will shift to the studios and my hopes are pinned on a gripping narrative by then. Counting on what ST said about focus was on writing and characterization. They have good actors to pull it off.

Today we were introduced to Paros fears and insecurities and the set up of the village under the patronage of the Thakur who rules with a strong hand and a soft touch ( the fate of Khabris reminded me of our discussions of Laila, she will be an interesting character). The Rajmata is the benevolent one who has a soft corner for Paro and had known her mom.
Liking the acting of side characters too- cheerful Bhindi, affectionate mami, and benevolent Rajmata. Thakurji was menacing enough.

Waiting for Rudra's arrival and we are sure to get fireworks as we already know where we are heading with this marriage deal.

Sanaya looked beautiful and hope writers fully explore Paro's pysche just as I am sure they will do of Rudra.

A Very Happy New Year to everyone. May it bring health, happiness and prosperity to all.

Hey U! The episode was good ... slower pace today, settling down and bringing in more characters. I guess it takes a week or two to introduce all the main ones.

So we got more about Paro today ... her fears and pain ... her dread of the BSD. Loved those scenes ... Sanaya always nails these kind of emotions.

And we got the first glimpse of the Thakur ... for now, he looks like most village thakurs from most movies and shows ... benevolent tyrant ... here he's involved in gun smuggling as well, so he actively hates the BSD. So does he instigate the villagers against the BSD? And set up circumstances to fuel the hatred towards them?

Happy New Year to everyone!!!

It was slower than yesterday's, but they have to normalize the pace to a level they can maintain everyday. Even though the first 3-4 mins was a repeat, I didn't feel bored. I mean, it was Sanaya running like a titli after all :)
She is so awesome at angst , I loved the scene where she has a panic attack in front of the stove. It looked very real, and I have seen someone have one in real life. Her mamisa is the sweetest thing ever. Woah Thakur ji, what an entry. The ruthlessness is evident even when he smiles at the poor man . And the Rajmata looks beautiful and kind . Wonderful costumes all over. I loved Sanaya's white lehenga and the purple one made her look quite regal.
I really liked the scene where Paro's friend says sarhad paar se baraat leke ayenge saiyan and they cut to Rudra driving through the desert. Ashish has such style. I am a fan. And what a name- Rudra Pratap Ranawat.
Can we see some more scenes with the kids please? Although the cast really impressed me I missed them . Such talented actors.

Yep, slower than yesterday ... steady and settling in. I agree, I didn't mind the repeat either 😛... Sanaya running on the dunes with her dupatta in her mouth, and that smile ... and the beautiful background music

Paro has a good support system, yet her pain and fears are very much there. Loved those initial Sanaya scenes ... she makes you feel her every emotion.

Thakur looks aristocratic and regal ... his wife is sweet and gentle.

Agree with you about the kids ... they were fantastic actors! Hope we get some more flashbacks with them later ... though we won't get any more meetings. Pity ... that one little Rudra-little Paro meeting was just beautiful!

Just caught up with the episode... The cinematography is great... Loved all of the scenes..

Yes , paro is scarred too... As is rudra... But then will they provide succour to each other... After all rudra is shiva and paro is Parvati,,,, and she us the only one who can cool Shivaji anger...

All symbols indicate that rudra is the dulha,,.,

And rudraji does not complete his motor bike ride even today!!!!!!

Anyone willing to bet if he is off the bike tomorrow?😉

He's on one heck of a long bike ride 😆 ... waiting for his damsel to be in distress then he will ride in to rescue her! 😆

If yesterday I loved the kids, today the honors are divided between Paro, Thakur and the cinematography ... the temple scenes and the haveli shots were great.

Happy New Year, Diya.

The VO did give some sort of explanation, when the privy purses were abolished the Thakhur's family who are the local royals had to give up their power and property. Their land got divided between two nations. This further fuels I think Thakur's rage against the BSD and villagers are used as pawns in this power game.

Slow paced episode...much needed after the explosive start.
Two New characters introduced...fine actors both.
The temple & haveli scenes were fabulous.

And now to Sanaya...very subtle & restrained performance.
Her eyes speak of her pain, angst & deepest fears.
Loved the Paro-Mamisa & Paro-rajmata scenes.
Her Rajastani accent was good today.
The cousin is cute.

Rudra ki bike savari khatam kab hogi ?😆

Settling in ... slow and steady. The pace change was needed today. Also good to introduce each of the important characters lowly ... gives them and the story more depth.

Loved Sanaya today ... I love her bubbly roles, but I love her restrained performances even more. Paro is sheer sweetness and gentleness ... soft nurturing Parvati.

Its a big desert ... a flight might have been easier for Rudra 😆
But phir hero ki entry kaise hoti 😉
