The cinematography is awesome and Sanaya accent sounds fine to me today she nailed all scenes. We still haven't seen Rudra face yet! 😲 Poor Paro is scared of fire I knew this is all a dream because after seeing young Rudra I fell he isn't that cruel at all deep inside he have a heart.

I always like seeing the supporting characters in strong roles ... it makes the episodes much more complete. The Thakur is an important character, so it was good to see him. This week they are slowly introducing all the characters ... on the face of it, he seems the standard evil thakur landlord, doing good on the surface, but in reality, taking the villagers for a ride. Let's see if he is different ... the actor did say his character is grey, not black.

Have to say, the casting is perfect. The thakur looks very aristocratic, and so does his wife. I like Sadia 😃

Loved Sanaya today .. they showed more layers to Paro, the fear and pain she buries inside but which surfaces occasionally ... she has grown up with a good support system, but her fear remains. Sanaya's acting was restrained, held back, her expressions mostly in her eyes ... love the subtlety she gets into her acting.

Rudra spent the entire episode on a bike .. I hope he reaches the village by tomorrow 😆

A good episode overall, it sets the pace for what is to come.. Yesterday was the opening and supposed to be a blockbuster but today its a sedate pace we can hope is maintained.. 😊

The ring of fire turns out to Paro's recurring nightmare as predicted by many.. Initially I wondered why they started from so far behind but I guess it was needed for showing the extent of terror Paro suffers from..Sanaya looked a little like Gunjan in the early morning scene.. The mami and her best friend Bindi are so sweet, a good support system for her, although she does hide her pain from them too..

I saw shades of Gunjan in her acting as well ... very restrained and subtle, the expressions mostly in her eyes. Since I fell in love with Sanaya because of Gunjan, am loving this! 😳 Paro has a good support system, but in spite of that, her fear remains ... a life altering experience for her, it deprived her of her loving parents ... she cannot forget it.

Temple scene was beautiful and had an authentic feel, loving this PH for spending where it is needed.. But why do they have to make the flashbacks look so tacky with a fake gritty appearance??😕 We know its a flashback why the reinforcement.. That apart rest of the cinematography was good..

Deeps, you are echoing my thoughts!!! 😆 I also loved the temple scene for the grandeur ... my husband actually remarked on the authenticity of the costumes. Also loved the haveli shots and the shots of Paro's house in the village ... very authentic. They have used the time in Rajasthan well 😃

Rudra's entry seems to be an ongoing event for the whole week.. Rudra aap kab aaoge? Every time Rudra's entry is shown against a sunset/dusk while Paro's entry was with bright daylight in the BG..

He spent the entire episode riding his bike! 😆 I guess he has to wait for damsel to be in distress before he can jump in to rescue her! 😆

Paro's friend seems like she is intended as the comic relief later when things get too intense or may be just a cheerful girl.. Anyway she's cute and looks a very good friend..😆

Thakurain loves Paro and has made a promise to Paro's mother.. I liked this angle a lot.😳. Paro is an orphan but receives love nonetheless..

Paro has grown with love, so she seems more secure. I liked the thakurain angle too .. and I love the actress! The friend is cute. Both are from SGP, I liked them both there 😃

Rudra may have joined BSD not just out of patriotism but also as a getaway from his situation..

There was a very good analysis yesterday, that Rudra joined the BSD because a) he is a rebel and b) because it gives him power and control.

Thakur is not in anyway lusting, at least not yet..😉 If anything he seemed quite paternal in his behaviour.. The evil is lurking somewhere beneath and will be out some day but for now he seems rather benevolent..

Yep, he seems more like a father figure ... the evil will surface when Paro falls in love with Rudra, I guess.

Paro looked so innocent and happy in the last scene when she is selected.. Poor girl has no clue of what fate has in store for her..

Waiting for tomorrow for Rudra's eventual entry and hopefully the scenes from new promo..

Tomorrow will be apun ke hero ka entry to save his damsel 😆 Hope his long bike ride is done!

Yet, to see the episode on TV but the grandeure can be seen even online. They have utilized their time in Rajasthan well to give us these first couple of weeks of spectacularly shot episodes. Soon we will shift to the studios and my hopes are pinned on a gripping narrative by then. Counting on what ST said about focus was on writing and characterization. They have good actors to pull it off.
Today we were introduced to Paros fears and insecurities and the set up of the village under the patronage of the Thakur who rules with a strong hand and a soft touch ( the fate of Khabris reminded me of our discussions of Laila, she will be an interesting character). The Rajmata is the benevolent one who has a soft corner for Paro and had known her mom.
Liking the acting of side characters too- cheerful Bhindi, affectionate mami, and benevolent Rajmata. Thakurji was menacing enough.

Waiting for Rudra's arrival and we are sure to get fireworks as we already know where we are heading with this marriage deal.

Sanaya looked beautiful and hope writers fully explore Paro's pysche just as I am sure they will do of Rudra.

A Very Happy New Year to everyone. May it bring health, happiness and prosperity to all.

Hey, welcome to this thread! 😃 Post away!!!

The cinematography was very good today ... my hubby is a keen photographer, and he loved it, especially the long shots of the haveli. The music is so far awesome, they have blended traditional music with the title song, and it is beautiful, very lilting. They slowed down the pace today and brought in more characters, more color and tradition ... the movie feel was very strong.

Today was Paro's day ... Sanaya nailed it, she always does in emotional scenes.

It was slower than yesterday's, but they have to normalize the pace to a level they can maintain everyday. Even though the first 3-4 mins was a repeat, I didn't feel bored. I mean, it was Sanaya running like a titli after all :)
She is so awesome at angst , I loved the scene where she has a panic attack in front of the stove. It looked very real, and I have seen someone have one in real life. Her mamisa is the sweetest thing ever. Woah Thakur ji, what an entry. The ruthlessness is evident even when he smiles at the poor man . And the Rajmata looks beautiful and kind . Wonderful costumes all over. I loved Sanaya's white lehenga and the purple one made her look quite regal.
I really liked the scene where Paro's friend says sarhad paar se baraat leke ayenge saiyan and they cut to Rudra driving through the desert. Ashish has such style. I am a fan. And what a name- Rudra Pratap Ranawat.
Can we see some more scenes with the kids please? Although the cast really impressed me I missed them . Such talented actors.

today episode continuation from yesterday with introduction of Thakur and his wife.

Wife is good seems fond of Paro , Thakur is the usual Landlord type guy

More light was shed into Paro charcter especially about her fears, Sanaya was too good in the scene after the nightmare part😊, She was looking very pretty throughout, loving the softness in her voice

I liked the girl playing Paro friend, bubbly type of girl😃

Rudro was on the bike from start to end, he looked very ruthless

so overall a good episode

Main highlight Paro selected for marriage by the blessing of Snake

Yep, today was basically introducing more characters, the Thakur and his wife ... the first layer. Rajmata is sweet ... the thakur seems the usual evil landlord at first glance, but there was affection for Paro and her friend, a fatherly type ... so let's see how that goes. 😛

Rudra had a long bike ride 😆

More about Paro today ... the fear and nightmares lurking under the surface ... the trauma of her past not gone from her mind, buried, but it keeps surfacing. So her wedding is fixed !

It was another fast paced and captivating episode..More details were shown today and the side cast were introduced to us as well..

So as we predicted,it was Paro's nightmare, something which has been occurring to her, over the past years. Even the mere act of boiling of water in a kettle, when she sees the flame in the burner , affects her.. Fire in any form is a source of her nightmares ..

Like how Maamisa tactfully tried to explain to her that a fire has different connotations ,trying to change the way how Paro sees it but this is something ingrained in her.. Paro may be a lively bubbly person on the outside but has not been able to come to terms with the horrors of her past..

Tejawat the Landlord.. An air of power, strength, cunning and a born leader amongst the villagers.. He is good to the villagers because they are serving his benefits ,he helps fund the marriages of unmarried girls and acts as a do gooder to all the villagers only so that he is able to get their confidence and also in this way, they will owe him. But a betrayal of any sort only means one thing. Instant death.

Rajmata and Paro seem to be pretty close. She hugs Paro as soon as the ritual is completed, happy that she would be able to fulfill what she had promised Paro's mother's that she would get Paro married.. So Paro's mother and the Rajmata knew each other before ?

As I said in my post,Every time the word Marriage was spoken, parallely, Rudra Pratap Ranawat, riding a bike in the distance,on the desert sands, miles away,is shown.

Both his and her destinies are entwined. If Paro is there,Rudra will be there as well. Destiny. It all comes back to this.

Overall a wonderful episode ! Loved every bit of it ! Looking forward to reading your take,Dia 😳

Lovely take, Abhi!!! I liked the dwelling on Paro's past and her nightmares ... her pain is an integral part of the story ... though she keeps it buried, or tries to. Maybe that's why she is a more gentle timid character ... fear is an integral part of her nightmares.
Sanaya looked beautiful in the white lehnga!

I liked the Rajmata-Paro fleeting interaction ... the Rajmaata knew Paro's mother quite well? Seems like it. Also the thakur ... he seemed paternal in his greeting to the girls. But like you said ... betrayal of any sort means instant death. Interesting ... grey indeed. Pretty dark grey as of now.

Just caught up with the episode... The cinematography is great... Loved all of the scenes..
Yes , paro is scarred too... As is rudra... But then will they provide succour to each other... After all rudra is shiva and paro is Parvati,,,, and she us the only one who can cool Shivaji anger...

All symbols indicate that rudra is the dulha,,.,

And rudraji does not complete his motor bike ride even today!!!!!!

Anyone willing to bet if he is off the bike tomorrow?😉
