Part 46
Knock!! Knock!!!
She's in the shower, he's banging the door……
Shaan: Khanak!!! Open the door!! (he's wearing a towel and literally leaning on it)
He just hears the shower. She's not responding, she had actually ran to the bathroom with her cltohes, as he had tried for another round…..
Aftersome, he doesn't shower, he wonders what she's doing….
Shaan: Khanak!!! (knocks again) have you slept??? (smiles to himself)
She opens the door, he backs off, she's draped in a red saree, its safely pinned (as she can't take any other risk) her hair is wet, she's smelling great, her neck with mangalsootr…..
Khanak: you can have the bathroom for you!! (smiles sweetly and passes away from him)
Shaan is blank, he can just see her, her beautiful face, which is flushed and clean, he turns around to look where she is, she's standing in front of the mirror, wearing her jewelry….
He comes to her, just stand behind her….
Shaan:Wow!!! (seeing her through mirror)
Khanak: if you're expecting me to reply, first you have to shower!!
He had decided to tell her about Kiya, after when he had seen her in reception, her intentions were clear, now its his time, but how would he tell her, he doesn't have any idea how she would react to it, he just smiles at her, kisses her on her cheek, and just moves to the bathroom…..
She senses some confusion in him, she would ask him, she moves out of the room, she wanted to move around, she didn't get time last night, she finds it has only two rooms, one which they had slept…..
The other one is empty, she moves in the hall, finds his photo, her husband with his friend Samar, in which he is smiling, and the other one, which was looking like as though, the pic had taken while he was studying, she get to see him focused, which she's not seen yet, oh yes, but she's seen him focusing on "some other work"……
She enters the kitchen, looks for something to eat, she gets coffee container, and she finds some bread which appears to be brought a little time ago, did he bring it??? She wonders, and she prepares coffee for both of them, she doesn't know whether he likes butter or not, though she doesn't like it, but she remember him eating paranthas at her house, without butter.
He's out of the shower, determined to tell her about Kiya, he can hear sound of bangles, and sound of pans, he smiles, she's preparing something for him, only for him!!!!
He walks to kitchen, he finds her, she's busy, roasting the bread, at the same time looking for something, and she's silent, its hard to find her silent, she's usually accompanied by some or the other person…. He loves his wife, still more, as she's cooking for him!!!!
He saunters in, she notices him coming, her hair is dry by now, its all fixed, she's ready to go out, she smiles at him, her cheeks pink or do they call it blushing??? Yes she's blushing!!!! A light thunder shakes his body by her smile!!!! He's just a gone case…..
He leans himself on the wall nearby kitchen, watches her, she lets out a long breath, as her heart beat had started to take a pace, she finds him looking at her, she boldly looks into his eyes, he's in some confusion, she walks upto him, he straightens himself, looks down at her, she's calm…..
Shaan: Khanak!!!
Khanak smiles, she loves the way he calls her, she moves further, gently places her right hand on his cheek, its like she's cupping his face…. When she touches, he takes a long breath…
Khanak: Kya hua????
That's it, he can't hold it anymore, he just have to spill it to her, he makes her sit on the chair, by holding her shoulder, he holds her hands in his hands firmly….
Shaan: Khanak, I wanted to talk about Kiya…
She's still calm, but she can feel that his hand is sweating, he's anxious, she just listens….
Shaan: Khanak, u remember I told u that day, I hardly remember about Kiya….. but the thing is……
Khanak: Trust me!!! (holds his hand, which had started to tremble)
Shaan: Samar told me that, she likes me, I seriously don't remember a thing…. (he starts to ramble)
Khanak smiles widens and she starts laughing, at first she tries to control, as she know why he was scared to tell her, but later, she just burst out, Shaan is wondering…..
Khanak: Shaan!!! Listen, it doesn't matter to me, until you have feelings, for another girl or lady, I know you wouldn't take a risk of something like that!!!
Shaan: So, you don't have any problem????
Khanak: Shaan, it would be a problem, if she had tried to stop our marriage, I mean, may be now she would have learnt it, that you belong to me!! Only me!!! (Possesive)
Shaan: I don't think so!!! (honest)
Khanak: ok!! I'll look at it, u don't have to worry about it!!! But, you better be away from her!!! (warns)
Shaan smiles and nods, she too smile, both of them hug, she brokes out of it, and stands up…..
Shaan follows her to the kitchen, and he's back to his normal self, teases her to the most, encircling her in his arms, kissing her on her cheeks, she complains that he need to shave, he goes unmindful and rubs his cheek on her cheek, making her yell at him, he laughs at her instincts of running away from him, she had handed him coffee, he had made her drink in the same cup, she had hated it, as he likes his coffee with less sugar, and she likes it in normal amount…
He doesn't love butter like her, but he had scrubbed it on her left hand, making her still mad, he apologise, he takes her hand and moves to the sink, on the tap, takes her hands and starts to clean her forearm, where he had scrubbed butter!!! He's behind her, holding her hand, his chin resting on her shoulder, she watches his hand moving up and down on her forearm, the butter takes long time to get cleared, he was enjoying the ontimacy, until, she freaked out and ran to the bathroom to clean it by herself, he had a good laugh!!!!
They had not realized the time, it was time to pick Aayush from school!!!! When she had walked out, she had literally holded his hands and brought him out, but he had hoped that he'll get a kiss from her!! But his wife is a hard nut!!!!
In elevator, she had maintained a safe distance from him, people looked at both of them in wonder, Shaan is not a person, who advertises himself, so he hardly know any one of them!!! A random guy, makes a bold attempt of asking her name, as she's looking the most gorgeous!!! She was about to answer him, our hero doesn't wait, pulls her to his side
Shaan: She's Mrs. Shaantanu Khandelwal!!! (gives a cold look at the guy) and leaves from there, as they had reached the ground floor!!
Car ride to the school, was smooth, they didn't speak about Kiya, nor about the guy, they spoke about them!!! Its just them!!! And Aayush!!!
Aayush was happy to see his mom and dad!!!
Aayush: papa!!!! (he first hugs Shaan)
Shaan: Hey champ!!!! (picks him up)
Khanak: How mean!!! You didn't see me??? (mock upset)
Aayush: Mom!!! (Shaan chuckles)
Khanak stares at Shaan!!! Aayush then hugs her!!!
Aayush: Mom, I love you the most!!!
Khanak: I know!!!
They take him to a nearby hotel as he was hungry, they enter in, as a family, Aayush in Shaan's arms and Khanak by side of him. A lady looks over at them, she looks very stylish, she's seated with some other women, she goes back talking with them….
Shaan makes Aayush sit next to him, Khanak opposite to him.
They order the food, food comes, Aayush eats slowly, and talks about his day in school, and how he had irritated Khushboo and dadi in morning, he laughs, makes Shaan laugh, Khanak gets to see her son grow naughtier!!!!! The lady looks suspiciously over them!!!
They get back home, Aayush runs to get changed, harilal has become his ew friend, Aayush likes him!!!
All others are seated in the hall, Shaan sits next to Akshay!! And Khanak sits next to Khushbo!!!!
Sunil, Madhvi are present too… Khanak asks for dadi, Madhvi tells her that she's gone for temple, she'll be back soon!!!
Akshay: Achcha Shaan!! What have you decided for honeymoon??
Sunil: arrey haan!!! What have you thought about it???
Shaan looks at Khanak, she's uncomfortable, she makes Aayush sit next to her, who had come by now…
Shaan: I haven't thought about it!!! (looking at her) Akshay looks at him…
Akshay: Don't worry I've got booked tickets for you people!!!
Khanak wide opens her eye!!!!
Aayush: achcha, sirf mom aur dad jaayenge????
Khushboo: Kyun aapko bhi jaana hain??(jokes)
Shaan: lekin bhaiyya….
Madhvi: Shaan Khanak, don't worry we'll take care of Aayush!!
Aayush: haan!!! Waise bhi Mom ko travelling karna, bahut pasan hai!!! Hai na mom???
Khanak smiles at him, still she's thinking….
Khanak: excuse me...(she goes into their room)Please comment😊
