Khanak, had to go to her apartment, where Dhruv and DD are staying, to get her clothes, as she wanted of her clothes. Aayush was going with her. Shaan had to take care of her visa, the name had to be changed, from Khanak Mishra to Khanak Shaantanu Khandelwal. Since Khandelwal's are known to everyone, she need not had to go for that, she Thanked God for that!! Shaan had laughed at her!! She never fails to amuse him!!
She's ringing the bell of her apartment, she's excited, Aayush is with her, he's happy too!! Shaan had dropped both of them, and he had promised to pick both of them after his work, actually her work!!
The door opens, Dhruv opens it, he's happy to see her too, and his face was somber when he had opened it, but after seeing her, his face had brimmed with a huge smile…
Dhruv: Hey Mrs. Khandelwal!!!
Khanak: Hey!! (both of them hug)
Aayush pulls on the pant of Dhruv, to indicate even he's present. Dhruv looks at him and picks him up and greets him with a peck on his cheek!! Both them move in, DD is very much happy to see her, she gets a warm hug from him!!
Khanak: How are you doing??
Lady: Not well!! (from Khanak's back) Khanak is confused, she turns around to see who it is, she's shocked, its Dhruv's mom!! She's not sure whether, she should be happy, but she doesn't see his mom smiling, she's serious, even DD's and Dhruv's expression changes to serious!! She senses that everything is not good, she kneels down to Aayush…
Khanak: Aayush aap apne friends se mil kar aao, we'll pack later, ok??
Aayush: ok!! (smiles) and runs out to see his friends….. Khanak is not sure, now what was the problem???
Khanak: Hello aunty!! (smiles)
Dhruv's mom: Hello Khanak!! Its been a long time!! How are you doing?? Oh yes, I heard you are married, how's it going???
Khanak: Great aunty!! Thanks a lot…
Dhruv's mom: So what's your husband name?? and yes I heard even he's a pediatrician too right??
Khanak: yes!! His name is..(not allowed to speak)
Dhruv's mom: u know what, forget it, im not interested!!
Dhruv: Mom!!! (he just can't take it)
Dhruv's mom: oh I see that, you haven't left her, quit Dhruv!! Remove Khanak out of your life!!
DD: will you just shut up!! (fuming)
Dhruv's mom: oh please, don't even try to speak to me!! (nasty)
Khanak is shocked to hear that, this family is been fighting for her!! She's the reason of the break-up of the family, she remembers the same family, enjoying their holidays and moving out together and having fun together, but why everything had changed?? why??
Khanak: aunty please calm down!! Dhruv, what's wrong??
Dhruv: Khanak, just don't listen to my mom, (controls his anger, tries to be cheerful) you have come here first time after your marriage, sit na Khanak!!
DD: haan Khanak, sit!!
Khanak: Dhruv, will you tell me, what's going on???
Dhruv's mom: oh I'll tell you!! I think you've forgottem your promise Khanak!!
Khanak: promise??
Dhruv's mom: aahh nothing more could have expected from you!! Ok Im here to take Dhruv to meet some girls, u know for marriage!!
Khanak is relieved, her face breaks into smile…
Khanak: oh that's nice!! (smiles)
Dhruv's mom: but he's refusing!!
Dhruv: Mom, please I've told you hundred times, that I don't want to marry now!! (Fierce)
Khanak: but why??
Dhruv: Khanak, please!!
Dhruv's mom: oh please Khanak, don't act like you don't know anything!!
Dhruv: Mom please it has not got a thing to do with Khanak!! Its my decision and its my life!!
DD just watches his son, he knew this was coming early, on a serious note, Dhruv had not moved on, though he had not fallen in love with Khanak, its just he has not got over by this, that his mom had changed a lot!! And Khanak had left him, he was not the one to receive refusal from anyone, but he had put a brave face, telling that he was fine, and he had moved on!! Which he had not….
Khanak: Dhruv!!
Dhruv: Khanak, you don't have to worry, Im not denying the whole marriage thing, im just telling that now im not ready!!
Dhruv's mom: Oh please Dhruv, do saal pehle, u were ready to marry Khanak!! But now…..
Khanak is devasted, she's shattered…. But still she hold her grounds!!
Shaan and Aayush walks in, both are happy, Dhruv and DD smiles too, Khanak tries to get back to normal..
Shaan: Hey!! Is everything alright?? Aap log chup kyun ho??
Aayush: Mom, ne shaayad, sabko finger on the lips kaha hai!! (jokes)
Shaan chuckles, Dhruv also tries to laugh, DD too, Khanak brings out a smile….
Shaan sees Dhruv's mom, but he doesn't know her, she looks at Khanak, she covers her face with a smile..
Dhruv: umm… Shaan!! This is my mom!!
Shaan: Nice to meet you!! (Now Shaan gets to know that something was not right, he tries to examine Khanak's face, since she's scooling it with a smile, he can't judge)
Dhruv's mom: me too, Mr???
Shaan: im Shantanu Khandelwal!! (smiles)
Dhruv's mom: nice!! I had seen you yesterday in the restaurant, u were with Khanak and Aayush!!
Shaan: u did!! U could have joined us….
Dhruv's mom: that's not a problem!! I was with my friends…
Shaan nods….
Shaan: Khanak, I think hume chalna chaiyiye, if your finished can we leave???
Khanak: ya!! Im done!!
Shaan: where's the bag??
Khanak: bag?? I think I should shop!!
Shaan: ok!! As you wish!!
They both take leave with Aayush, Khanak had managed a faint bye for Dhruv, but she couldn't look at him….. Shaan hadasked her whether she was ok or not, Khanak had responded with she's fine!!
After that, they had gone to shopping, Khanak had no mind for that, Aayush had done all the choosing with Shaan!!
In the night, Khanak had drained, her face had paled, Shaan thinks may be she's tired, yes she was tired physically and emotionally!!! Shaan allows her to sleep, but kisses a good night on her lips, he had controlled himself, he had cuddled her to him, and made her sleep in his arms!!!
Next day had been fleed, they did the remaining packing, she had got back her visa, Shaan was tormenting her every next second, when she's interestingly reading about the environment of Maldives, he had hugged her from back, and kept on kissing her on her neck and on cheeks, she had not forgotten the whole incident, but for time being its pushed away from her memory…..
Khanak: Shaan!! Please let me concentrate!! (breathless)
Shaan: no ways Khanak!! Last night I didn't get what I wanted, so why not now!!!
He had made her fall on the bed, he on top of her and kisses her fiercely!! She too can't herself, her turmoil, come back, Shaan had every right to know what had happened!! But she herself didn't know, why she had been unable to share it with him!!
They were disturbed by the knock on the door, Shaan groans, he's nuzzling her neck, Khanak opens her eyes, both of them get up reluctantly!!
Shaan: I can't wait to get away!!
Khanak had blushed at the mention!! Their flight had been on the same evening and they would be reaching by night…
While leaving she had kissed Aayush on his forehead, and had made rules for him, he agrees to everything!! And finally they had bid bye for the family!!!
They had landed on Male international airport, on Maldives. Khanak's eyes had lit up finally!! She had gushed, about how excited she's to Shaan!! Shaan had held her!!
Hotel staff had been come to receive them, they had a choice of taking, speed boat for 60min ride or a sea plane for a 20min ride!! Since it had been a late evening, they had to take sea plane!! They had now been taken to an island, where the resort was present!! Its hembadhu island!!!
Maldives is an island, in Indian Ocean!!! Maldive differ in half-an-hour from India's timezone!!
Khanak was really excited to see the water villa!! She had squealed in joy and hugged Shaan, very tightly!! They had been left alone
Khanak: Thanks for this!!!
Shaan: sirf thanks se nahi chalega!!! He pulls her into a smooch, she responds to it!!!
